Booked this hotel for a trip starting on 3rd March 2020, just when the Covid19 pandemic was starting. Tried to cancel our booking which had been paid in full, due to my having underlying health condition, and was told couldn’t have refund but could amend the dates and to contact again on 2nd March 2020 which I was happy with. However when I made contact on 2nd March to amend the dates of visit I was told that we couldn’t have refund and now couldn’t amend the dates either. I was told by the hotel that the virus was under control and Venice was safe to visit. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to them or I could have been dead by now. Very poor service and very dangerous information received from hotel.

Small hotel in a city center. Rooms was small but clean. Bathroom is also clean, towels were changing every day. Breakfast is OK... Location is wonderful only 1 minute to St. Marco square. Recommendation, price is OK too... When you arrive, take vaporeto line 2 and go out in Rialto, or St. Marco station. For few minutes you are in...

Not the hotels fault - more our travel agent however - So imagine my upset when we arrive to find it is a Comfort Inn. Not only was it the smallest bedroom ever but the shower was fixed to the wall at 4 foot. The bath was a half bath, the door smashed the bidet to get in and out the bathroom and the toilet was situated in such a way that if you sat correctly your chin and face hit the sink. The breakfast, for Italy, was sub standard and cleanliness left a lot to be desired ( mould in the bathroom) Great hotel for a quick sightseeing tour but not great for a honeymoon!

I would class this place as B&B not a hotel. Rooms were clean but taking a shower was a real challenge. The shower mixer didn't work properly so it was either freezing cold or boiling hot water. Breakfast was basic continental type of food but you wouldn't go hungry. (Bread rolls, cheese, salami, croisants, jams, honey, nutella, cereals, yoghurts, some fruits, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and orange juice). They charge €10 per person for breakfast but we feel children shouldn't pay full price. Our 11 yr old daughter didn't feel well, so only ate very little and we still had to pay full €10. Check in was relatively smooth but we havent seen anybody at the reception for the next 3 days we stayed in this hotel. There's no bar available even though their website says they have a bar on site. The best thing about this place it's the location. Literally 2 mins walk from San Marco square.

Room was clean and breakfast was basic but all that was needed. When you consider it’s only reasonably inexpensive yet ona couple of minutes walk from St Marks Square you can’t really go wrong. Why pay for more when you are only really gonna be in the room to sleep!
