Brilliant Boutique sized hotel on the seafront. Girlfriend and I arrived late in the evening to Venice and decided to splash out on a private taxi to our hotel. It was definitely worth it as it dropped us right at the front door of the hotel. Room was perfect. Nice bed, good bathroom and great air conditioning. Staff were very friendly. There’s a ferry stop right outside the front for whenever you want to explore Venice. Would definitely return, Bravo Paganelli.
We stayed at the Paganelli Hotel as a long family weekend break, after 3 years of restrictions (Covid etc). Right on the water front by water bus station, the Hotel looks small but the rooms have all the mod cons. There's also a small rooftop terrace with views out to the bay/seafront. At night it was not noisy at all. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful - they even print out your boarding passes for the return flight as part of the service, once you've checked-in online. Breakfast was continental-style, with scrambled eggs, hams and the usual breads. We recommend this Hotel and would definitely stay here again.
First came to Paganelli in 2019 and always said we'd be back. As soon as Covid restrictions lifted that's exactly what we did. Staff were great, friendly and attentive. We changed our room from our last visit had picked the unique basin view balcony. It was superb. sitting out in the evening watching people and boats across the basin. Location of the hotel is spot on with major sights all within short walking distance. This hotel is a favourite of ours and we will certainly be back for another visit soon.
I had booked this hotel for a 2 night stay in Venice with cancellation, I happened to catch covid the day after my cancellation date expired and had to cancel my trip , hotel paganelli did not want nothing to know about a refund or credit. Horrible customer service, not good practice to not accord a future credit or refund when someone has to cancel their trip due to COVID AND has Valid testing proof. I definitely do not recommend this place.
Great service as before . Staff that go the extra bit to make your stay as enjoyable and as friendly as possible . Rooms very comfortable and clean . Hotel in the perfect location . View from front of building best in Venice . One of best places to enjoy sunrise and sunset . A photographers dream location . Looking forward to a return visit .
The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and orderly with an amazing patio balcony. We had a cicchetti hour on the rooftop deck and it was amazing. You can walk out the door and your are steps from St. Mark's Square and The Bridge of Sighs. It's waterfront and beautiful. 10/10 Would Recommend :)
Me and my family loved this hotel it has a great location!! Your right by everything that is important in Venice! The staff is friendly especially Manuel! Rooms are clean and comfortable! Breakfast is fresh and the Cappuccino was just what I needed to start the day! They treated my family so nice!
Perfect location, Manuel on reception was so lovely and helpful (Inter fan!) but all the staff were the same. Couldn’t do enough for us. Rooms cleaned daily and towels changed. We had a triple room which was certainly big enough with a great bathroom and shower. The bar next door was our ‘local’ again friendly staff and Aperols for €4! Water bus (Alilaguna) from the airport was €15 and drops you literally at the door of the hotel. We didn’t do the organised tour to the islands and the water bus to Burano is also from San Zaccheria, basically right outside the hotel. We ate mainly in the squares behind the hotel at night and found the front deserted by 10.30pm which helped for a good nights sleep.
Customer service was very good at the front desk. I had a request and was not even a Customer and they were very helpful. Times are tough in Venice at the moment and it helps for the staff to be as kind as possible- so thank you
Enjoyed a couple of nights in the hotel in late November and fully enjoyed its fabulous location and views from the room. The structure is old but decently maintained and, most importantly beds are comfortable and shower is very effective. Not luxurious (there are many options) but surely more than enough to enjoy Venice. Personnel was always nice and friendly.
