We stayed in a attractive double room with a lovely chandelier! The staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast (included in the price) was very good with a lot of options. The price is very reasonable, especially as the hotel is central (about 5 mins, walk from St. Mark's Square.

99% of our experience at this hotel was outstanding: comfortable beds, silent at night despite the central location, a few minutes' walk to many of Venice's key attractions, close to the Rialto vaporetto stop, extensive and delicious breakfast with something for everyone, friendly staff, very clean, good price, receptionist who went above and beyond, good toiletries and towels, in-room safe that worked on the first try, cold drink on arrival...
The 1% that could be improved was that our room only had a bath with a shower attached to the tap. You had to hold the shower head: there was no wall attachment for it. And nor was there a shower screen or curtain, so it was easy to flood the bathroom.
However, we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a friendly and central place to stay with a great breakfast to set you up for the day.

The hotel is centrally located to the main attractions of Venice and also lots of restaurants and souvenir shops to choose from. Due to the covid restrictions we chose the breakfast from a night before which is reasonable given the situation. The breakfast was always fresh and tasty. The hotel staff were very attentive and happy to answer any questions we had. Delighted we have stayed here!

A lovely, well furnished self-service air conditioned apartment with everything we needed for our stay provided. The flat was spotless and the check-in staff were very polite and really helpful.
5-7 mins walk to San Marco or the Rialto the location was perfect with the bonus of fantastic gelato opposite, restaurants nearby and a small supermarket just 100m away

This is a fantastic hotel!
The location is perfect (step outside turn left to St Marks, turn right to Rialto. Both around 7 mins walk) with shops and restaurants as soon as you step outside.
We were a family of 3 in a treble room on the first floor. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was small but had everything you needed (walk in shower, sink, wc) and was very modern and clean, wno complaints at all.
Breakfast had a great buffet selection with lots of choice.
The staff were all very lovely and really helpful.
I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, it’s a little gem!

We stayed in the hotel's "Charming Venice Apartment" and liked the location, in a quieter part of Venice, but across the street (more like an alley) from a well-known local cafe. The cafe can get noisy, but it closes at 11 and the bedrooms are at the apartment's rear, away from the noise. The shower is balky when it comes to hot water. It's an on-demand hot water system typical of European homes. It's located to the left of the sink and we adjusted the heat and pressure for better results.

The Hotel was very conveniently located and absolutely spotless. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was adequate. Only complaint is that our room was right beside the housekeeping store so we were woke very early every morning.. definitely not what you want on honeymoon! I'd recommend asking for a quiet room, or maybe management could look at moving the store to more daytime things

This hotel is exactly what you’d expect from a 3 star.
Nothing fancy but warm, clean and a good variety for breakfast.

We stayed 28-31 dec and it was chilly! But hotel was warm. We were in tiny single rooms but we used the hotel as a base as we were exploring all day.

Small rooms but had all you needed- tv, shower, hairdryer, safe. ( kettle is downstairs in the main lounge)

The staff are very friendly and helpful and provided advise whenever we asked.

As other travellers have mentioned, its in a great location- 5 mins from the large attractions and near water taxi stop rialto bridge to explore further afield.

Thanks for a great stay!

Venice is a stunning must see city.

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Da Bruno. Friendly, helpful staff and the hotel is very clean and tidy. The hotel is in a great part of venice, very close to Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square. The room was a little small but had everything we needed and the shower was very powerful but bathroom also quite small. Lots of shops and restaurants very close to the hotel and the hotel offered a great breakfast with a range of choice. No lift and a lot of stairs so be aware of that. If we returned to venice we would definitely stay here again.

Hi. We are booked for 2 nights in June. How do we get from the train station to the hotel?
Answer from Jammy888
Edinburgh, United Kingdom30 contributions30 helpful votes
Hi. Probably best to take a water bus to Rialto and then walk. Especially if you have luggage. There may be porters at Rialto who will take your bags - for a fee - but it's only a short distance.

We took the boat taxi right outside the rail station ( as far as I recall!) to the very central boat station ( can’t remember) but 6/7 minute walk( no option) to Hotel! On way back there’s a boat that goes straight to the airport too!
