We stayed at this hotel two years ago for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was absolutely lovely, and we had the best experience with the staff and accomodations. The front desk person even went to college in my old hometown in NC! We had a great room on the top floor off of the large balcony. We are getting ready to book another trip to Venice with two more people in the next couple of weeks, and I am wondering what style (deluxe, superior, etc.) the room would be listed under. We want the same area of rooms if possible as we spent a lot of time on the terrace in the evenings, and will have extra guests that will need a room up there too. Thank you in advance!
This is such a beautiful hotel. Elegant which pays tribute to a beautiful time. We missed our train and scrambled to find a hotel was very pleased with what we chose. The staff was very friendly and the room was beautiful. Our window over looked the canal and the sounds of Venice filled the room. The free breakfast was a plus with a tasty selection. I highly recommend staying in the elegant hotel.
We stayed here for 1 week in September and were very happy with the hotel. The whole property was very clean and the additional covid19 measures in place were excellent. We were given a mask and sanitizer at checkin and all staff wore masks and sanitizer on entry/exit was perfect. Social distance markers in place and reduced number in elevators. We felt very safe and the hotel have done a great job putting these measures in place. When entering the hotel the lobby is very impressive, smells amazing and has beautiful Venetian decor. All staff were very helpful and they even let us have a late checkout as we had an evening flight home. The room itself was a double and fairly small, however it was well equipped with plenty storage and had everything we needed, apart from an iron, which the hotel advised they did not provide due to fire safety issues. We have travelled the world and never encountered a hotel which could not provide an iron. No big issue though, just be aware if you stay here. The location is perfect, easy walk to the train station, piazalle roma for buses and vaporetto stop right outside. Despite this it was gloriously quiet and we never heard a peep during our whole stay and slept extremely well every night. There is a Spar supermarket close to the hotel for essential items and many shops, bars and restaurants all around. Housekeeping done a fabulous job in cleaning our room every day, providing fresh bedding and towels. Toiletries were provided and there was also a hairdryer,TV,safe,telephone,tea/coffee facilities and a mini bar/fridge which we also used to store our own drinks with no problem. I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.…
We had a lovely couple of nights in this beautifully decorated and plush hotel. The staff were so friendly and so helpful, especially Patrick. The rooms were gorgeous, furnishings and fittings all you’d expect for this wonderful city, and the bed was huge and comfortable. The breakfast was great. Generally the Coronavirus care and cleanliness were thorough and well organised. Away from the really touristy bits, so a bit quieter and cheaper for food etc. It’s not quite on the Grand Canal but about twenty feet away, right near the station and a Vaporetto stop - extremely convenient. A brilliant place and a worthy choice.
My partner and I recently visited Venice and stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Upon check in the receptionist was very polite and friendly and quickly checked us in informing us, to our delight, that we had been upgraded. The room we stayed in was stunning with large patio doors openingup to views of the grand canal. The decor looked like it had been plucked from a catalogue of classical venetian decor complete with a Murano glass chandelier. Then to top it off a bottle of prosecco was sent tothe room shortly after check in. Coming into the hotel each night after being out exploring bustling Venice was like entering an oasis of calm. The hotel reception made for a brilliant impresson each time we arrived back and the cool breeze from the aircon was a welcome relief from the humid heat of Venice with temperature control in the rooms working perfectly. We also had breakfast at the hotel each morning which while being fairly standard was filling and a lovely way to start off the day. All in all I hope to return to the hotel next time I am visiting Venice.…
