We highly recommend this hotel not only for the position (in front of the trains' station) but also for the nice rooms, the beautiful lounge, the good breakfast and the kindness of the staff. You can have dinner in the roof terrace. We hope to come back to continue in discovering Venice.
We arrived at the hotel by water taxi from Venice airport about 25 minutes away . The best way to arrive . The Hotel is located on The Grand Canal opposite the railway station . Hotel staff very helpful when sorting out an itinerary for our 4 day trip . The hotel style and our 220 was a reasonable size and good modern bathroom . The location of our room was in a quiet part of the building so not much noise from outside . Breakfast was served inside or outside and was very good . We sat outside every morning as the weather was good .The restaurant staff were first class and very efficient even when it was busy which it was most of the time .One evening we had dinner on the roof terrace which was a great experience .over looking the Canal .Water bus stations were just over the bridge and the best way to get around and not to expensive. we bought a 48 hour pass for 60 euro's each and were easy to use .The gondola ride was booked through the hotel and one was waiting for us just outside the hotel , A must do while in Venice. Visit St Marks square and Basilica . Several other churches are well worth a visit .,The hotel will give you a map to find your way around. plenty of shops ,cafes and restaurants to chose from while in the City .The Rialto Bridge area is great for bars etc sit and watch the canal in full swing . We bought some glass back with from a small shop in square Gemia across the bridge near the hotel .Book your water taxi back to the airport via the hotel well in advance as can be busy ,Cost is reasonable as a car taxi is about the same but takes much longer .The water taxi stops outside the hotel and is a great experience and end to a visit to Venice .Will be back !…
Beautiful hotel beautiful rooftop restaurant wonderful staff aside from reception people. Will do other hotel next time we are there cause check in and checkout was annoying. They lost our reservation even after we called a day earlier to confirm! Granted it was covid time but a service with a smile is least we deserve. Restaurant staff and bar staff were amazing.
We have stayed here 3 times now and we just love the hotel. The staff are incredible, always friendly and so helpful. The breakfast is amazing - the team will go above and beyond to serve you whatever you want. Dinner on the roof top terrace is just superb and should not be missed. I celebrated my birthday here and we had the best dining experience. The chef cooks the food in front of the guests. Exceptional Italian cuisine and a great wine list, served by Philip and his amazing team. Big shout out to Ivan who was just a joy! The hotel is located across from the train station (probably the cleanest train station in the world) and 5 minutes from the bus terminal. A great location to discover Venice from. The Vaporetto to places such as St Marks, Rialto, Murano, Burano is located just across the canal. We had a great 5 days in Venice and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you.…
Located 5 minutes walking distance to the car parking at Piazza Roma and opposite to the St.Lucia train station it is easy to get to the hotel. Rooms furnished in traditional Italian style, small but clean, modern bath room. A nice breakfast is served to the tables located directly at the Canale Grande. All staff members are friendly and helpful. The roof top restaurant is highly recommended
