We stayed 2 nights here before boarding a cruise. We absolutely loved the location - it was just about perfect! The room was spacious, considering the size of hotel rooms in Europe, in general. The fact that it was in the 'annex' of the Rialto Hotel didn't bother us - it was quiet. Our room had a small balcony on... More

Ca' Rialto house is actually a guest house attached to the Hotel Rialto. It is located in the back alley way. You use Hotel Rialto for any facilities such as breakfast (which was plenty full). This could be very off putting for some people but in actual fact it was an escape from the crowds. And when I side your... More

Nice hotel part of Rialto hotel. The location is just perfect by Rialto bridge and walking distance to San Marks Square. From the railway station to the hotel take water bus no 2. It drops you right outside the hotel. The rooms are spacious and decor very Venetian. Only one thing missing is a tea coffee maker. Would not recommend... More

This is an annex to Hotel Rialto which is on the Grand Canal, right next to the Rialto Bridge. The annex is a separate house with entrance from the back street. Very dark inside. Steep stairs lead you to the rooms; there are no elevators. Our room was beautifully furnished and quite large. The bathroom was also large and clean.... More

Visited Ca' Rialto House with my wife and had a good three night stay. Excellent service and very friendly staff throughout our stay. Got a small but clean and neat room with a large bathroom. Not much of a view...but who cares since we were out all day and just slept in the room. The aircon was not the best... More

I booked this hotel for a romantic weekend in Venice with my girlfriend and we both loved it. The location is perfect, in front of Ponte di Rialto and just 10 minutes away from Piazza San Marco. Our room was decorated in typical 18th century Venetian style; it was small, yet pretty. The hotel's staff were friendly and the breakfast... More

The water taxi stop is directly outside the main Rialto hotel which is where you need to check in for the CA Rialto. A porter then took us to our room (506) out through the back door and down an alley, which might make you a bit nervous but don't worry! It was way bigger than expected, more of a... More

We chose to stay at Ca Rialto for the location (which is great, right near the Rialto Bridge) and reviews on here suggested it was good value for money, staying in the annexe which is cheaper than main hotel. It was easy to find and check in at the Hotel Rialto (which is just a few metres from the water... More

To start in Venice one of the best locations you can get.Direct located at the waterfront Grand Canal right next to the Rialto Bridge and 'RIALTO-WATERBUS STOP' with amazing views during day and night! Feel life passing by right from your hotel window....Also as a central spot for having the transport arrangements (take a direct exiting boat ride with water... More

The hotel located in almost a secret alley behind its sister Hotel, the Rialto. The check in was done at the Rialto hotel front desk and a nice gentleman helped us bring our suitcase to our room, note there is no elevator in this hotel. The hotel and the room had a great traditional Venetian style just like the pictures... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
