We came to Venice for a romantic getaway for 4 days and stayed in this hotel . The location is amazing for exploring the city, and the rooms are lovely. Situated right next to the beautiful Rialto bridge.

One of the best locations, right by the Rialto bridge and the water us from the airport drops you right outside. Worth spending a little more to get a room overlooking the grand canal - I think the rooms at the back have no view at all. Room is fine but some people have commented it's a bit small. However,...

Hotel was amazing, had been warned by travelling companions who have visited many times before that rooms were small, ok wasn't large but absolutely delightful. Comfortable bed most amazfing Murano glass chandelier, beautiful decor, plenty of toiletries even toothbrushes and toothpaste. Bathroom had oblong shower plenty big enough, very clean. Breakfast buffet, continental everything you could possibly want and along...

Room was a lot smaller than I had anticipated after opting for the next level up room type and price frame although to be fair we were out a lot and the room done the job. Great breakfast, with a good time frame to participate in it. The location is superb and we would more than likely return to this...

Location of this Hotel is great. Don't get tricked by the rip off merchants at the airport selling tickets to their water taxi service, the stop for the water bus for the airport is right outside the hotel. The hotel itself has very old furniture and is desperate need of an update. Our room had crumbs all over the floor...

This was an awesome stay. The place is close to everything, we had a room with view of the Rialto Bridge and it was amazing! The room was spacious and clean, the service was very attentive and the breakfast was great.

Nice room and lots of channels on the TV ! The buffet breakfast is very good too. Staff speaks different languages and is very polite. Decoration of the room is ancient style but still modern and interesting

My husband and I were traveling with our daughter, a grad student in Paris, and at the last minute we were told by a frequent traveler to Venice this was the best place to stay so we called for availability and switched. It did not disappoint. The location was perfect! Walking distance to everything. The staff was great, arranging excursions...

Stayed here two years running for our anniversary. Lovely room and friendly staff. Great location. Literally at the bottom of the Rialto Bridge. Close to water taxis. Breakfast was included and there was always a varied selection. Would definitely recommend this hotel .

I had stayed at this hotel many years but chose it again for the location due to a late arrival. It is a step away from the Vaporeta stop and right in the center of the Rialto area. The staff were very welcoming and the room allocated was ideal for our needs having our granddaughter with us. Free wifi which...

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
