We found this Hotel rather difficult to find initially when we got off the water shuttle, but once we found it we were very happy with our choice. The location was very central to many of the main attractions and there were plenty of restaurants...More
Spent three nights at this delightful hotel and could not fault it. Close to water taxis, San Marco, and many other famous Venice attractions. Staff polite and helpful, breakfast more than adequate, great wifi. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will definitely stay...More
We stayed 6 nights at the Bisanzio in June 2017 for an in-depth exploration of Venice. All the front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating of my interest in speaking in my third-rate Italian rather than their first-rate English. The location was great for...More
Heart of the city! Great location within walking distance to St. Mark's Square.
But on the quiet side street off the canal.
Excellent breakfast and accommodations.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Gabrielle helped us with restaurant reservations that were excellent and not touristy.
It's my first time at Venice and am not quite sure of their hotel standard.
It claimed to be 4-star hotel when room, facilities and services aren't impressive. Yes, their front staffs are pleasant and accommodating but not matching the 4 star quality.

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighborhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.

I'm fairly certain the parking is close to the water bus terminal but you might need to drop people with luggage off at the ferry terminal and then go back to park the car. From the ferry terminal, there is a short walk from the parking/bus drop point to ferry itself. Straight, flat but a few kerbs. Once on the ferry and getting off at the Bizanzio stop, you are meters away from the hotel. Again very flat and no kerbs. Make sure you don't miss the alley way though as it is easy to walk past. It is literally almost opposite the water bus terminus. But like the others say, I'd double check with the hotel. They're v good and do speak English.
