What a wonderful place to stay and a great location. The restaurant outside was fabulous and we were able to watch all the people pass by. A special shout out to a fantastic concierge who took so much time making sure we were all set for our day and helping us secure tickets and reservations. Thank you to Danieli Salata!
We have waited three years to finally get to this wonderful hotel. Like many people we had cancellations due to Covid and then problems with train lines being fixed. The bottom line really was whether it was worth the wait. A resounding yes. Everything was absolutely fantastic from the staff, to our room and the breakfast. We enjoyed playing the piano in the later evenings when it was quiet. Venice itself is a real delight and pleasure to stroll around. A belated birthday celebration was a brilliant success
Great hotel right by the water and within walking distance to St. Mark's Square. The front desk staff was very helpful with everything we needed from restaurant recommendations to confirming our water taxi for return to the airport. I can't say enough about how amazing they all were. They made a difference in our stay. As part of our room rate we had breakfast outside in the outside enclose patio which did not disappoint. Rather than buffet style, ordered a la carte so that food was fresh and sanitary. After walking all day along the canals we ended our day sitting outside in the enclosed patio drinking the best Bellini's and Aperol Spritz. If I am able to come back to Venice I will definitely stay here . The hotel staff really made our trip memorable.
This hotel was centrally located right near the pier. Very easy to disembark upon arrival and a few steps to the hotel. The staff is fabulous…incredibly attentive, helpful, welcoming and overall delightful. The breakfast options were great, just about anything you’d want. The room we had was spacious, had a nice size bathroom and king bed. The temperature was great. One minor issue is there weren’t many outlets so I found it difficult to charge my phone and such near the bed..,.but a minor flaw as it’s not likely a business focused hotel. We would definitely go back if ever visiting Venice again.
This hotel was in the perfect location. The staff was helpful and kind. The rooms are small but very nicely decorated and would recommend getting one with a view. They helped make our anniversary trip (which was delayed by two years from the floods and then covid) wonderful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for your next stay in Venice.
We booked the Londra Palace over two years ago and were thwarted by Covid from travelling any earlier. It was well worth the wait. There is nothing to dislike about the Londra Palace. The staff are warm, friendly and efficient; the accomodation is of a very high standard and the view from a deluxe lagoon view room is simply stunning. It's worthwhile just watching the activity on and by the canal, whether pedestrian or boat. There was a great choice of food for breakfast and it was superb; as was the evening meal that we took in the Duo Leoni Restaurant. The Londra Palace is ideally located to hop on and off the Vaparetto, or to walk to San Marco and other attractions. Long story short.......we will have no hesitation in returning to the Londra Palace on our next visit to Venice.…
Subtle luxury on the grand canal, centrally located walking distance to everything, the staff are very friendly, helpful and respectful. The staffs were very helpful, friendly and respectful. They helped setup beautiful special requests
Great location, the room (Junior suite with balcony) in very good condition. Very nice, helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast on the terrace or a dink there in the evening very nice. Best Bellini in town!
What a divine hotel! It felt very Venetian. I loved that the same staff were their every day (gosh they must work long hours) so you got to know them. My room was 212 - one of the smaller ones with a balcony overlooking the canal but wow it had everything I needed and I sat on that balcony a lot. Particularly if I woke before sunrise but to watch Venice with no people (amazing) and seeing the workers arrive very early from their homes. The little bar is gorgeous - when I asked what spirits went into their delicious negroni and they showed me all these homemade bitters and homemade vermouth I know it was a next level bar experience. I do think they could improve breakfast a bit - both the food and the service - lots of people working but it’s not quite what it should or could be. Just loved handing my big chunky key in when I went out ( a little bit of theatre). I also noticed I paid my taxi driver 80 euro for the water taxi to get there and when I left and they arranged it (and they asked me to pay the driver myself) the said it was only 70 euros for a much nicer boat too. It just made me trust them more. They booked my train ticket to Rome (highly recommend the first class experience for that - wow) and special shout out to Danieli (sp) from reception for the restaurant tips and lovely Ivan for secretly double checking them at the bar! I know it’s not a cheap hotel but the trill of the bargain disappears quickly and the memory of this stay will linger forever.…
Wow, what a wonderful hotel. My husband and I stayed here for 4 days for his birthday. From check in to check out the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. The setting is fantastic overlooking the grand canal, standing on the balcony watching the world go by was a joy. We ate in the restaurant and the food was beautiful with a wide range of wine to choose from and the bar had a wide choice of alcohol and cocktails. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a dressing room which was great to help keep the room today. We had a faultless stay and hope to go back soon.
