The Londra Palace Venezia stands out for its elegant charm and prime location, a stone's throw from St. Mark's Square. Guests often commend the hotel for its impeccable cleanliness and the warm, inviting atmosphere that permeates throughout. While travelers appreciate the stylish, comfortable rooms with stunning views, some have raised concerns about their practicality. The hotel's exceptional service receives high marks, though the value proposition is questioned, with many finding it overpriced, particularly when it comes to food and room rates.

We have just returned from our third stay at the Londra Palace. The very high standard of service, comfortable rooms and gorgeous food has remained consistent. The whole team at the hotel are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Londra Palace is a haven to return to at the end of a busy day experiencing Venice. We will definitely return to stay here again.

Simply wonderful. From the check-in to the breakfast, to the location, to the attentive service, one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in any season. Of course, the location makes it easy to wander throughout the touristy spots, but this hotel also allows you genuine respite from that. Enter the doors into a beautiful, placid, welcoming (and refreshingly cool!) atmosphere, where you are greeted by a staff adept at assisting with whatever you may need. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed; we traveled with two other couples and visited everyone's rooms, including one that had a spectacular view the lagoon. While that was not our room, we did have a quintessential view of the Venetian rooftops and balconies on other buildings around us. The linens were very plush, and very welcoming after a day of exploration. The staff was exceptional; from dinner reservations, to water taxi transport, to mixing an Aperol Spritz, this hotel knows how to do it right. I would stay here again in a minute.

This was one of the most iconic and special hotels I have stayed. Great location on the main promonade and steps away from St Marks;'s Square. The water taxi's and goldola's are directly in front of the building. We had a balcony overlooking the sea and walkway. The restaruant was also very lovely and the food was good. The bartender was one of the most professional I have had ever encountered!

To say our recent visit to Londra Palace exceeded our expectations is an understatement! The room was beautiful, but there are a lot of hotels with beautiful rooms. What makes the Londra Palace stand out is their staff. To a person - the bell men, housekeeping and restaurant staff, the reception and concierge personnel - all treated us as if we were the most important people staying at the hotel. We have never stayed at a hotel where we felt so special. We stayed at other 5 star hotels, but the Londra palace is in a class by itself!

This was the last stop on our 12 day Italy tour and definitely, this hotel was our least favorite of all that we stayed at in Italy. It was a nice boutique hotel as others expressed. It is in a busier area which didn't bother me, but when we sat outside on their patio, it was not relaxing with all of the foot traffic passing by. There were a few staff members which rubbed us the wrong way. After checking in, we asked the concierge for a map, which he then tried to sell us on a private tour to Murano and Burano. We already had something set up separately and it felt like he was trying to give us a sales pitch. That did not leave us a good impression. Also, one of the staff in the breakfast area was sort of rude to me when I asked if we could place our order. I'm sure there are other hotels better than this one in Venice. I gave it 4 stars because overall, it was a nice hotel. Just a few things that we didn't love.

Having stayed at a lot of hotels over the years- we’re now newly retired- we were delighted to find one where all the staff really do go that extra mile to provide excellent service in all respects and they seem to enjoy their work. This is a great location on the grand canal, very close to boat taxi and public boat stopping point, with lovely views. Hotel has outside bar and restaurant space where you can watch the world go by. I was a little apprehensive about our room as we had booked a standard double- was it going to be too small? Whilst not large it was so well laid out and fitted out we had room for everything and space to move around easily. Shelves in the bathroom provided ample space as well. Our room was on the back so very quiet. Staff were extremely helpful, whether the ladies cleaning our room, bar staff, restaurant staff or the reception and concierge staff. The latter were especially helpful- they organised private tours for us in advance of our stay and then ensured that we knew exactly what we were going to be doing and when. They were especially helpful when we had a leave a day early due to a family emergency. Whilst breakfast was marketed as « continental «  it was much more than that. Everything from freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit salad, cereals, freshly made pancakes, eggs, smoked salmon and delicious pastries. The lady who runs the breakfast service seems to understand immediately whether you are wanting a leisurely breakfast or are in a hurry. Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon was my favourite. This is definitely one of the best Relais and Chateau hotels we have stayed at.

My wife and I, and our daughter, spent 3 nights here in September. The hotel is located about 5-7 minute walk from Piazza San Marco and the Doges Palace. Can't beat the location, in my opinion. Our 2 rooms faced the Grand Canal. The only meals we had at the hotel were breakfast. Unlike some of the other reviewers, we didn't mind seeing tourists walking along the sidewalk in front of the outdoor breakfast area. It was actually good people watching. The servers were excellent; the food adequate. The front desk staff was very helpful, booking us at a nearby restaurant upon our lunchtime arrival and booking us a water taxi for our trip to the airport on the day we departed. If I return to Venice, I will likely stay here again.

Londra Palace was a great place to stay in Venice. The water taxi drops you right at the front and staff are there to assist with bags. The lobby is beautiful and the outside and inside restaurant are elegant. The rooms are individually styled and also elegant. It is situated very close to all the tourist areas. We had an early departure and we’re given packaged breakfasts to take with us.

First the good news. This is a very nice boutique hotel. Rooms lovely, service great, nice breakfast where they serve you vs buffet. Now the bad news. Location while good being that it is close to St Marks Square is actually really bad in that you are across from ferry terminal and hordes of people getting off boats making breakfast anything but peaceful. To make it worse vendors have stands right outside the hotel which really cheapens the feel. I rely on TA for traveler reviews so am disappointed others did not come away with same feeling we had. And it was not cheap . 1400E/night for a room with lagoon view. You can find nicer hotels that are quiet for this price and even cheaper. Venice is very walkable. A lot of hotels close to the square. I hate writing a bad review when no fault of the hotel management. Maybe some people ok with eating breakfast watching tour groups line up and day laborers disembark from the ferries while street vendors wheel in their kiosks, we did not.
