This hotel is a stunning palazzo which gives the feeling to live in the old Venice of 700. Elegant, neat, fantastic air conditioning, exclusive and full of antique furniture as well as decoration. One feels at the same time at home and above all is very welcome as every time once enters the hotel and is friendly greeted by the reception. They offer fantastic Italian food in the hotel restaurant which is tasty but not too heavy. The breakfast is also great. Its location couldn't be better be it for sightseeing, shopping or night life.
That was our second trip to Venice for the carnaval celebration. In my opinion, you can’t find a better place to enjoy the full carnaval atmosphere wile be very close to your hotel. The location is not perfect, it is superb! Hotel by now requires some updates in room decorations, some rooms are really old and dusty. Unfortunately even for our second stay there we had to ask for a different room since after 5 minutes I started sneezing due to the dust. Our second room was great, spacious, beautifully decorated. Breakfast is great and very feeling. What we like the most is this hotel actually participated in carnival activities with some mascarade balls and photo sessions in its lobby. The other positive is the Atelier on a first floor where you can rent your costume last minute.
My family and I travelled to Venice for a short escape from reality and it truly was a dream, from arriving at the hotel with the taxi boat, over the exceptional service and to the beauty of Venice itself. The hotel was gorgeous, brilliant location right next to the high-end stores like Chanel and Louis Vuitton and around the corner of the legendary Harry’s Bar. Hotel Baglioni Luna definitely adds to the atmosphere of elegance and luxury, while seeming to remain humble and quiet at the end of the street right at the river. The rooms were exceptionally clean and taken care of, the chandeliers coming directly from Morano to surround the guests with Italian flair, and we even had small hand sanitizers in our room, a very much appreciated treat during corona times. Wherever in the hotel, the staff is very friendly and attentive. Especially at the front office Mrs. Laura Moretti was such a pleasure talking to and very helpful, assisting us to plan our visit and recommending places to go. Every hotel can only wish to have such a lovely, caring and bright receptionist like her. The breakfast satisfies any and every taste, from meat lover to vegetarian and vegan, from savory to delicious small pastries, preparing you for the day ahead. We very much recommend this hotel for a wonderful holiday!…
We booked a stay for several days and we have been so happy to get an upgrate without asking at the arrival. Thank you so much to Mrs. laura - she was so friendly and helpful all the time! A bit too tricky is Mr. Umberto! The stay was wonderful, the breakfast delicious - the rooms maybe a bit too old. Therefor we would think, the category of the hotel would be in our mind not more than 4 stars - also because of the situation, there is no terrasse outside, only a few table on the street.
We arrived yesterday in this beautiful but uncommon empty city and we were welcomed very cordially by the few team members that try hard to maintain five star service in this troubled times. They took care of my family, our puppy dog and me and they did so well that we all should support hotels like this and the beautiful people behind it. Very modern rooms and service at its best, thank you for this nice stay.
