This hotel is very typical of Venice. Amazing building with lots of history. It's located very close to the San Stae vaparetto stop and not far to walk to all the main sights. Room was lovely and spacious. Breakfast was ver busy, but lovely selection. The barman/porter was a very busy ma, but very helpful and friendly. We had a...

Stayed here for two nights at the end of our Italian road trip. Hotel is very atmospheric. Outdoor seating area on the Grand Canal is lovely, and a rare bonus in a hotel so reasonable. Our room was on the ground floor looking out at the Grand Canal. Room was very comfortable.

Giovanni and Merlino provided outstanding service. We immidiately felt at home. Merlino was so knowlegable about the area with his suggestions on what to do since it is our first time to visit the city.

We just spent two nights at the San Cassiano, and we're very pleased and impressed with our experience! While the rooms are small by North American standards, they make up for size through the service and experience of their staff. We had wonderful welcoming service, and they were able to provide terrific nearby restaurant recommendations. Right on the Grand Canal,...

The room we stayed was full of mosquitoes and the person in the front desk was not kind enough to change the room. The location of the hotel is not great. Good breakfast. But won't return to this place.

I received a room a double room on the first floor, which was extremely spacious - I loved it! It didn't come with the view but the balcony on the first floor next to my room certainty made up...

My husband and I were in room 103 for 5 nights. Room was right on the Grand Canal. Listening to the canals activities is very special. The hotel is quaint and have everything you need. Warm towel rail to dry clothes, coffee, tea which is always appreciated for us Aussie's and lots of room. The only thing missing is a...

Eight in our party, so we hired a private water taxi to bring us from the airport right up to the hotel on the canal. Breakfast was wonderful in a gorgeous breakfast room. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms clean. Because our family was so large we were spread out on different floors (though 2 rooms were next to each other for...

We stayed in the "family room" that consisted of a queen bed and two twins. I really wanted to love the room, but it was so dark and gloomy and felt dingy. One window facing a shaded street, dark red paint and very poor lighting. The bathroom was also tired, and it's time to update the bedding. Front Desk was...
