Alessandro is the perfect host and his B&B is the perfect mix of sophistication and comfort. My family stayed in two of the three rooms during the last few days of our vacation. The rooms and living space are spotless and the decor is amazing. We used the living space to relax and play cards in addition to enjoying the most amazing breakfast spread imaginable! Alessandro went all out to make our stay comfortable and easy. He helped us confirm the water taxi for our departure and also helped us print documents for the airlines. He is the most gracious host. I highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect and the hospitality is second to none!
Fantastic holiday thanks to the perfect and impressive hospitality of Alessandro and his staff. This B&B is unbeatable for its position, comfort and elegance of all its rooms. Breakfast is extraordinaire and the host offers you the best advice if you want to visit Venezia or have lunch and dinner in the most suitable places. Incredibly positive experience there. Thank you Alessandro!
I highly recommend this charming and elegant B&B! Massimiliano and Alessandro made me feel so welcome and were very attentive. Their personal approach in management provided a comfortable experience and felt like home. Perfect location with a pleasant view! Definitely would book again.
What a great wee B and B in central Venice. We booked the family room with a little balcony over looking the canal. Fantastic spot to people watch, especially during our weekend over Carneval. Would love to return once we can travel again.
Beautiful stay close to everything! About a 5 min or less the the main square. Host is nice! Make sure you have cash to pay. Mornings were amazing with such a beautiful view (see pics)very worth every euro.
I booked the Junior Suite almost 11 months in advance to make sure I got the balcony. It was excellent. We traveled with our 10 year old and even with the sofa bed laid out there was enough room to walk around and sit by the breakfast table. We really enjoyed watching the people and gondoliers passing by. Hearing the water and singing gondoliers was my son’s favorite experience aside from the gondola ride. Noise was not an issue. When you close the doors to the balcony and the outer shutters the room is quiet. The bathroom, although small, was super clean. Very modern with good hot water and pressure. There was a refrigerator stocked with juice, milk, yogurt and fresh fruits. We had an espresso machine as well as a regular coffee maker. Breakfast consisted of packaged pastries but there was a store right at the corner with fresh-baked goodies. We arrived in the morning and was met by the caretaker. A lovely woman who took our cash payment, stored our luggage and gave us the keys. We had a wonderful and comfortable here. Gianni was quick to respond to email messages. …
This was the first place we booked on our Europe visit. Fortunately we got the room by the canal. Don’t think twice about upgrading to this beautiful room. Just hearing the gondoliers crooning all day long is worth it. The balcony opens down to a gorgeous little canal ploughed by gondolas all day long. It is a wonderful location and does not feel a bit touristy. Now about the hosts. Wonderful hospitality and attention to detail. Gio was always good with the emails and he assigned us Janelyn for the visit. Janelyn met us at the waterfront and even before that was in constant touch with our plans. Considering it was her birthday and our visit was delayed - she still showed enormous patience. We got our universal adapter and medicine kit ready as requested. Plenty was provided for the breakfast. She was informative and available for any queries. Highly recommend this place and will stay here again on our visit. Note: there is a preference for cash payment. Just be ready for this. Also there is a 3 euro tourist charge. Mornings things bustle up quickly in the canal. If you plan to sleep in invest in a good ear plug.…
We spent 3 fabulous days and nights in Gio & Gio BnB. Loved the charm of this classic Venetian home. Right in the centre of vibrant Venice, but peaceful and quiet. Perfect base to wander the lanes and alleyways full of hidden treasures. Spoiled for choice with breakfast options and the added bonus of gondolier serenades directly under our windows. We were well taken care of by the friendly staff, who also gave us hints on local cafes and sights. Highly recommend.
So this is not a hotel. There is a common area that has a TV. There is a small kitchen with a fridge that the host keeps stocked with juice, fruit and milk and a table with pastries and croissants. There is also coffee or espresso. It is nice and clean. There are three rooms. Each is different. Each however has it's own bathroom. One room is more like a suite and has it's own fridge and breakfast area. The host is great and was very helpful during our stay there. Great location, only short walk to St. Marks and the Vaparetto. As this is not a hotel some of the questions were hard to answer.
Perfect location, waterbus direct from St marco Airport stops 2 mins from Gio and gio. It's literally a stroll away from St Marks,Doges and Rialto and the ferry for the islands. The b & b is so warm, comfortable and relaxing. Singing gondoliers pass by on the canal all day,it's the perfect place to stay in Venice. We had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed plentiful coffee, tea pastries and fruit for breakfast. Thank you Gianni.
