I booked this hotel after reading the reviews here, and still felt nervous. Three stars in Europe can mean a wide range in hotels. But it was fine. Our room was on the 1st floor. No lift, but one flight of stairs was not a problem. The bed was very comfortable. Our bathroom was large and clean, with a tub...

We booked the "hotel" directly from its own website. Obviously, it overrated itself as "three stars hotel". It's a hostel but priced as a hotel! No internet/wifi at room even you paid. You have to go to the tv room(an open area) for the internet. No frills are fine but the toilet is terribly small! And if you would like...

We stayed there for two nights only on a short city break. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk to/from the bus station for the shuttle bus to/from Marco Polo Airport. Our room (213 on 2nd floor) was a little shabby, and the lace curtains could have done with a wash. But the room had everything you need...

The hotel is ideally situated if you are arriving by train/bus as you only have to negotiate two/three bridges with your luggage. Our corner room was on the second floor and overlooked the Grand Canal and another canal and it was as if the water/pedestrian traffic was in the room with us!!! Very atmospheric and you were in no doubt...

Hotel chosen for location (an overnight stay between cruise and flight home) and price; the price for a one-night friday stay in may in any venetian hotel was huge! location is good for Piazzale Roma (5 mins walk) but approaching hotel it gives the impression that it is about to fall down and this is not contradicted by the shabby...

This hotel was chosen for its convenience for arrival in Venice by bus and proximity to the Grand Canal. it certainly delivers in this respect being just a few hundred yards away from the bus station and easy to find. From there however it fails spectacularly. The hotel is really in need of a major facelift. The facade is scruffy...

Where to start. Upon arriving at this hotel I did not feel welcomed, instead I felt l inconvienced them. Our room was tiny as expected for Europe, but it needed a face lift. The room was outdated in a bad way, and I felt very dirty in this room. There was mould in the showers and the wallpaper was so...

Location near the train station and port, and a clean room are the reasons to selecting this hotel. But don't expect comfort in warm weather. We arrived and room temperature was > 80F. We took cold showers before bed just to cool down. Asked manager in the AM to check the A/C. He said they don't have A/C; they just...

If you are wanting a clean room, breakfast and excellent location to both train station and Port for a cruise... this is the spot! We arrived by train which was literally across the Grand Canal to Hotel Canal and one bridge. Unlike some other reviews, the hotel staff were very welcoming, permitted us to leave our luggage earlier than check-in...

Stayed for 5 days in this cosy hotel. Liked everything : location is perfect, 3mins to Rome square (bus stop), 3 mins to railway and 3mins to Vapareto station. A lot of non-expensive gift shops and even 2 supermarkets not far. Staff were smiling and friendly. Our day started with a tasty smell of a home-made bakery, which restaraunt provided...
