I highly recommend you to stay at Adriano’s place. He is a very kind and open person. When we arrived, Adriano showed us some places around where we can eat or shop. Also, we found in our room some drinks for free what really surprised us - we booked a room without breakfast. The room was cozy and with everything we need. There were 2 clean bathrooms and a small library with books and Venice travel guides in different languages. Adriano’s place has a good location, there is a waterbus station next to it. Just buy an unlimited waterbus ticket (30 EUR/2 days) and explore Venice 🙂Thank you Adriano, it was a pleasure to stay in your place!
NOTE: we stayed at the Vaniglia's Biennale Apartment in Garibaldi St offered by Adriano as there was no availability at the Vaniglia B&B at the time of the enquiry. A wonderful, simple Studio apartment overlooking a Venetian canal in a serene and 'local' part of town yet only 15 minutes walk from St Marks and less than 10 minutes to Arsenale vaporetto stop where you can take the Blu line to the airport. Numerous restaurants (and cafes/bakeries) line Garibaldi street, and our host Adriano gave us a wonderful recommendations (don't miss Giorgione's on a Saturday night). The apartment is spacious enough, comfortable, serene and well kitted out - no surprises. There are quite a lot of stairs but how else to you get a great view down the canal in one direction and down the imposing Garibaldi Street in the other? A perfect and inexpensive bolt-hole for a few days in Venice.…
Great local location away from the tourist hustle and bustle. St Mark's is a nice 20 minute walk away and there are good local, cheap bakeries, supermarkets and a pub in the area to buy food. The room comes with a communal fridge and has tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary drinks. Adriano was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed staying with him. We stayed in winter, over New Years. The rooms were warm and we could see the fireworks from St Marks from across the waters.
Me and my boyfriend often stay in this bed & breakfast when we travel for work. Very clean, quiet and good price! Adriano, the owner is very nice and his family too, always happy! 2 minutes walk from the boat stop and 10 to saint mark's square by boat. Nothing negative to say!
Very well prepared room, clean, towels and most importantly a very nice owner who was very helpful and made our stay extra nice. Adriano picked us up from the watertrain and made us feel very welcome in his home.
