My husband and I spent a few days here in the summer. The hotel was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is in a wonderful location, easy to walk to all the sites. Breakfast was great. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Venice.

We stayed three nights here and it was a good experience. The location is very good as it is just a short walk from the Giglio vaporetto stop and close to San Marco definitely contact them for directions before making the trek. Agnes’s the receptionist and Jona the waitress at breakfast were extremely helpful and accommodating. Across from the opera house.

Despite the fact that the hotel could very much use an update on its peculiarly exotic but yet charming decor and could also welcome new mattresses, it is very well located and the staff is very friendly and keen to help.

This boutique hotel was a 5 out of 5. It's centrally located. St. MARCO Square was a 5 minute walk. The Rioalto area was an easy 10 minute walk. This hotel has 12 rooms with a nice common room for breakfast or lounging. The breakfast was very good. The rooms are fairly represented on website. They are eclectic in decorating. Our room was spacious and clean. The biggest plus was the staff. Kamal took great care to ensure we walked in the correct direction everytime we left the hotel. Kamal, Matteo and Tomasso set us up with a tour and 3 nights of dinner reservations while checking in guest and bartending. These 3 men made our stay special.

Our stay at the Ad Place Hotel in San Marco was a beautiful and romantic experience in the city of love that is Venice. Our check in was swift and easy and even though we had just arrived in from a tornado we were made to feel right at home the second we had arrived. We liaised with Tomasso in Reception who was very attentive and extremely helpful with giving us the location whereabouts of all the city itself. Tomasso went above and beyond helping us with various questions and bits we were needing to know of/about and I couldn't recommend him any more highly. All staff were extremely helpful. We had a wonderful stay at the Ad Place hotel and if you're wanting a truly romantic place to stay we couldn't recommend it anymore highly. She said yes on the gondola ;) Will & Sophie H

I found this little gem through thorough research. If you go to Venice you can pay a fortune for a filthy room, with bedbugs, dirty carpets, lousy plumbing, an air condition that doesn't deserve this name, bathrooms with a size if a broom closet, impolite staff and a lousy breakfast (often a croissaint, coffee, jan and juice and that was it) OR you decide to stay at AD Place in Venice. The hotel is a 3 minutes walk from the Vaporetto Stop Giglio (No.1) and the ride from the car parking or the station takes app. 30 minutes. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Campo St.Stefano, La Fenice and San Marco. Close by is a little shop and some very nice bars and restautrants. Friendly staff receives you at the desk (open 24/7) and provided you with all necessary information as well as a map. I had a room on the third floor, staff helped me to carry the liggage upstairs. The room was in a perfect condition. The furniture was functional and there was even a wadrobe in the corner. Lightproof curtains make sure you will have a giod night's sleep. The aircondition worked fine, though I switched it off at night. The bathroom had avery splendid size for Venice, the waterpressure in the shower was good and the water really warm. Shampoo, bodywash, bodylotion and handsanitizers were provided, as well as Kleenex and a good powerful hairdryer. There were plenty of new and clean towels. The breakfast is a mixed style of buffet and service by the staff. You can choose what you'd expect to be on the buffet the next morning by filling iut a form that you lesve at the front desk, providing your room number and the time you'd like to have breakfast (starting at 7:30). There are various warm egg dishes, pancakes, toast, rolls, croissaints, muffins, cereals, yoghurts, jams, honey and juices available, as well as cheese and cold-cuts. I had ordered breakfast for 8 a.m. but woke up quite early and wentvti the breakfast room at 7:30. The extremly friendly lady there really made my day and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with very good Cappuccino. The perfect start into the day. Coffee and various sorts of teas are available in the breakfasteoom for free 24/7. When it was time to leave Venice , the hotel kept my luggage free of charge in a safe place, until I left for the station. All in all it was the perfect stay in Venice and I'll be back for sure.

The rooms need updating but the staff are wonderful and Kamal looked after us wonderfully, nothing was too much trouble. A great asset to the property, as was the lady at reception and the breakfast staff.

Just returned from staying at the hotel for 4 nights. The hotel has a quirky style which I liked. The rooms were large and well equipped. The location of the hotel was brilliant for accessing all of the sights in Venice. Breakfast was included with a very good choice, and the staff were great and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
