Spent a fabulous 4 nights in Venice made extra special by our choice of B&B. Bloom was perfectly located on the pretty Campo Santo Stefano, away from the hustle & bustle but still within 10 minute walk of Piazza San Marco. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, particularly the wonderful Anthony who not only answered our many questions...

After a long day of cruising, we found the jewelry of our dreams, the foccacia of our dreams, and the dinner of our dreams within 200 meters of the Bloom B&B just before crossing the Accademia Bridge. Waking up to the smell of fresh bread and walking out in robes to the quaint and common breakfast area, with the view...

My partner recently me took to Venice for my birthday and he had booked to stay here (August 12th – 15th). The stay was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it. On arrival we were given a map of Venice and shown to our room, we had room 202 (the white room), it was beautiful and very clean, even myself...

Bloom would certainly not be suitable for anyone unable to climb many stairs to reach the rooms. Having said that, for me it was almost certainly one of the best places I have stayed in Venice, and I have stayed in 5 star hotels, most recently, the Danieli in July. The Danieli was superb, but the standard of the rooms...

It was the best place that we stayed during our trip to Italy. The rooms and amenities were excellent. We stayed in the top floor which had amazing views of the tower at San Marco and right in from there was this open terrace which with unlimited supply of Prosecco which again had amazing views of Drosoduro. This place is...

Stayed here for just one night. Wish it was much longer. Great location on a wonderful campo. Beautiful room with wonderful amenities. The roof deck really is wonderful for a procecco sunset. I didn't know about the free Prosecco when booking this B&B. It was an added and extremely welcome bonus. This is a lovely place to stay in Venice., The location is perfect, just a short walk to the Grand Canal. The rooms are immaculate. We had the whole of the top floor too ourselves which was when travelling with children....

It's not easy to find - a tiny brass sign on the doorbell - and several flights of stairs to negotiate, but once you're settled Bloom is very pleasant. Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
