This is a truly fantastic hotel - I think the only reason its called B&B is because A) It has not lift and B) Reception is in a different building.

We took our first trip to Venice as a celebration of my husband's birthday and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. I found the Bloom highly recommended in The Times travel guide to Venice, deservedly so as it turns out.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with others. I am delighted you enjoyed your stay with us for this very special occasion and we look forward to seeing you another time at Bloom !
We loved this hotel, perfect location, nicely decorated rooms and an amazing roof terrace. On our first night we were delighted to discover the free prosecco fridge and had some wonderful evening on the terrace overlooking the street below. Would visit again!
Beautiful accommodation with great attention to detail. Friendly, professional and efficient service. Nice central location, close to restaurants, art exhibitions and public transport. Note that there is no elevator, standard in Venice, but keep in mind and pre-book a porter.
The room walls are paper thin. If you get 305 you can hear everything not just in the hallway and other rooms around but also in the breakfast room. The staff is helpful overall but the breakfast is ultra basic, and not worthwhile considering you're...More

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

Reception desk is at the Hotel Locanda Fiorita behind the hotel - just check in there, they will take you to your accommodation and give you the keys to come and go as you want from then on - they are very helpful. They should also give you detailed directions to get to the hotel when you book. Enjoy!
