My 77 year old mother & I traveled to Venice and loved our stay at the 3C. It is in an excellant location & a good price for the quality of B&B. Fabio, the owner, was very helpful and attentive. The rooms were pristine, with soundproof windows that kept street noise from interfering with our sleep. I would highly recommend... More

We loved 3C B & B!!! This was our first trip to Venice, but we found the location to be perfect and we loved our room. We arranged to arrive before check-in, but we were able to see our room, obtain the key, and leave our bags. When we returned, we found our room to be spotless and our bags... More

Very convenient. 2 mins from Saint Marks square and the ferry terminal. Reasonable sized room with modern fixtures and fittings. Friendly and helpful host. Our room faced the street and tended to be noisy but thst's the price for staying in the centre of the city. A few extra grappe before bed helps!!

Having been disappointed by accommodations in Venice before I was excited to try this place after it was recommended by a friend. We were impressed by the modernized room and cleanliness. Having stayed elsewhere in Venice for more $ and lesser quality I will make this my mainstay in Venice. The central location is great and even with a room... More

We stayed for 4 nights in this B&B in February 2011. The B&B is very modern and clean a 2 minute walk from San Marco Piazza. Fantastic location! Only a 2 min walk to ferry stop that takes you anywhere in Venice. The rooms are very tastefully decorated with a unique combination of old and new, we loved the design!... More

If you need a place to stay in Venice, look no further. The property is stylish and very well kept. Very modern. Breakfasts are wonderful. Fabio is an excellent host! Speaks English very well and is full of insight about Venice (he'll even teach you some Italiano if you wish to learn). I would definitely stay here again and would... More

Superb location - extremely close to San Marco piazza. Noise levels are very quiet and you can hear the bells from St Mark's in the morning. Superb hospitality - Fabio and family make you feel right at home. Very helpful on helping you plan your day, and he speaks very good English. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise - it was... More

3C B&B was very nice, modern and comfortable. Double glazing, quiet, clean, with a great location. We stayed four nights, which allowed us to see lots of Venice. 3C was a great find, and Fabio has done a great job.

Stayed at B&B 3C in early November for 3 nights with my husband, parents, and brother. We booked a triple and a double with the possiblity of adjoining both rooms. The triple had a kitchenette and a small dining table. If you're staying with kids, this would be the perfect place. Both rooms were very roomy, which is typically hard... More

Staying in Castello

Neighborhood Profile
Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighborhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
