My family and I stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant by chance. I am so glad did. We made it our regular haunt during our holiday in Venice. Marco, the manager, and the team of wait staff couldn't be more friendly or attentive. They went over and above making my family and I feel special. The food is good too, and... More

The staff was wonderful and we had a great experience. Home wine was delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again during our trip. Thanks for everything! We will definitely come back when we travel there again.

On a very windy day we were encouraged to sit outside. Service was okay but food was bland. Carbonara was scrambled. Tortellini with butter and sage was very dry and pasta tasted supermarket style. Went inside to pay and thought the interior had a wonderful charm but would have still been the same food . Not worth the money

We stumbled upon this restaurant after a long day of exploring the city. We actually were trying to find another restaurant that we had researched, but gave up after having no luck locating it. The menu at Art Blue look delicious and the place was packed, so we figured it had to at least be okay. We all order pizzas--2... More

We stopped off here for lunch 1 day. We both got pizza and myself a wine and partner a larger. food was lovely and service was good. All of the men who work the gondolas were lunching at the same time so it was a sea of stripey tops . would eat here again .

We were there in low season around February and what a nice surprise to find this place. Okay we didn't see anybody during our stay but we didn't need. The place was really great. The beautiful blue set up for the room makes Venizia a real dream. But really, the location is just perfect.

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
