I stayed for just two nights at Hotel Alla Fiera, and just could not fault it, for the price. I didn't have an en-suite bathroom, just a capacious sink in-room, but used a shared bathroom, down the hall. It was kept very spruce & clean, at all times, as far as I could see. My room was great, and had...

Stay here only if you cannot afford anything else. Besides being old fashioned and very untidy , the hotel is really not very clean. It says online that The hotel offers wifi but that is not true. You have to pay for it (1€ per hour). We pais 3€ for 3 hours but 1 hour later it just stopped working......

We stayed here for one night in July 2016. It was good overall. Location is great. Not so far for the city center. It's in a walking distance, 20-30 minutes from Prato della Valle. Room was clean with comfortable bads. There is a wi-fi but you will have to pay for it. Breakfast was simple but tasty, italian style :)...

The hotel is slightly out of the centre but not too far to walk from either the train station or the town centre itself. The room was fairly well furnished and the bed was comfortable. In fact the room itself was comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was complimentary which was nice but the choice was not massive (that's...

A Nice and Simple Hotel. Also, it's Economic Hotel which is situated in the city, 5 minutes walk from the Train and Bus Stations only, and 10 minutes walk to the center of Padua. The room is clean, with enough space to move on. The staff are very cordial and informative, especially the night porter Ruben and Andrew. Highly recommended...

Problem no. 1: noise (no soundproofing, huh?). Problem no. 2: cold room (low temperature in early March cannot be beaten with bad heating). Problem no. 3: bed too short + too narrow even for somebody with average stature (and I am 6'4", 230 lbs). Problem no. 4: no cold water in a bathroom (except in a bidet...) etc. Avoid it!

I thought this hotel was in an excellent location for seeing Padua. It was a little far from the train station (about 15 minute walk), and about 10 minutes from the beginning of the centro. But easy to get everywhere. The hotel reminded me of staying in Italy 30 years ago. Although not modern, it is very clean and the...

Very good size room for the price, excellent en-suite. 24hr bar also very helpful. Breakfast a little dissappointing. Noise can be a problem, but only one night during my seven night stay. Staff are very helpful and there is an excellent trattoria next door.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel alla Fiera is strategically situated in front of the Fiera Campionaria, Padova's preeminent trade fair venue. It is located near the train station, the Courts of Justice, some of the city's prestigious university departments and close to the Cappella degli Scrovegni, which contains frescos by Giotto that is one of the most important masterpieces of italian art. At only 2km from Padova's eastern motorway exit (Padova-est) and a few minutes on foot from the historic centre of the city, Hotel alla Fiera is the perfect base for your holiday, for your business trip or for your studies. It is a particularly convenient location for the start of bicycle trips either within the city or its environs. The '70s styled building situated on two floors, without a lift, has a homely vintage feel, where cleanliness is our priority. Guests are welcomed by friendly professional staff that are available 24 hours to give clients any kind of information to help them make the most of their stay both at the Hotel alla Fiera and in Padova. We give directions, advice on restaurants, shopping, day trips to neighbouring cities such as Venice, bus and train timetables, as well as information on exhibitions and other interesting things to see and do nearby. We love to look after you and make you feel as at ease as if the air of your own home was not too far away. The smell of coffee and warm croissants will greet you in the morning either in the bar or in the garden in the summer, areas where guests can also rest and relax during the day or in the evening, sipping tea or perhaps an aperitif. We look forward to welcoming you. ... more   less
