It’s Thanksgiving, and even though my stay at this hotel was months ago, I wanted to write this review to express how thankful I am that I was able to stay here. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel, and especially it’s staff. My partner and I stayed here in February 2020 as the pandemic was first starting to spread in Italy. Despite the fear and anxiety at the time, the staff went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They were welcoming right from the beginning, offering a snack while waiting for the room to be ready on our arrival, and insisting on carrying our bags to our room, since there is no lift. Museums and attractions began to close in Padua due to COVID restrictions while we were there, but the staff did their best to direct us to area restaurants and possible things to do. Although we had booked a weeklong stay, we were compelled to leave early due to rising cases in the area and closings in Padua, but it was a tough decision because we felt so well taken care of while at this hotel; I almost could have stayed at the hotel despite having few sites available to see. I have to say that I rarely write reviews, and we usually interact with hotel staff infrequently, so comments about them don’t usually carry much weight when I read hotel reviews; this time is different. While the rooms are beautiful, the location of the hotel is excellent, and the breakfast is very nice, it is really the care of the staff that make this hotel stand out above all others. I can’t wait to come back again!…
From beginning to end this small boutique hotel is exceptional. The staff go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for you and provide you with all you need to know about Padua. The hotel is located close to the old town and near two of the most beautiful sites in the city - Basilica St Anthony and Prato Della Valle. The rooms are big, airy and modern and the bed was bliss. Little touches at breakfast like fresh orange juice and delicious croissants from a local bakery made this place really special. Everything also felt very clean and safe in this new Covid era. Highly recommend.
I was there a few months ago, and felt really welcomed in this gorgeous hotel, the room was beyond expectations, and I really loved it, just a walk from the city centre, and the Basilica of Saint Antonio, a real must! If I need to be in Padua again, I now where I will stay. Thank you to the wonderful host Andrea.
Nice boutique hotel in the city center. Walking distance to most city attractions, shopping, food. The room are nice and clean. They have a cofee machine in room and mini fridge incudes some water , beer, softdrinks all included in ur room price. The breakfast was nice and freshly made to order like eggs etc. The most imp part of the hotel is the service. They take their service very seriously, they go out of the way to help u out in everything u need. A must stay in padova.
We found Hotel Belludi to be the perfect base for exploring the many delights Padova has to offer. We had principally come for the Giotto frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel, but discovered so much more art in the process. The hotel recommended excellent restaurants, offered a very personal service, and has its own excellent breakfast. We shall return.
