This hotel is ideally located in a safe & convenient area of Padua. The staff are helpful & obliging. The breakfast room is small & cosy but does not have a lot to offer vegetarians, nevertheless, everything is in abundance. Rooms are spacious & clean. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Our twin room was spacious with comfortable beds, the wifi was strong, the aircon worked but was noisy. The shower was in the bathtub and flooded the floor. 10-15 minutes walk to piazzas. Parking in garage €12 overnight but can unload car in space in parking lot outside hotel. There is a reasonable restaurant next door which was very handy... More

Free parking in the limited parking lot in front of the hotel was good. We were told the area was safe. Staff were friendly. No porter service. Small elevator. Large double room, satisfactory for overnight sleep. Clean, but not luxurious. No great views. Fine for one night stay. Would not stay here for multiple nights. Breakfast included and more than... I stayed at Igea for 2 nights and it was pleasant, the woman I was with spoke Italian to the Manager and he assured us a great stay. I loved the view and hearing the sounds of Rome, Italy in the morning. A great experience for a open minded traveler!

Family tour for the episcopal ordination of a friend in Santa Giustina, very near the hotel. Our little son, 7 years old, get enamoured of the room and keeps asking when shall we return in "our hotel" in Padova...

My room was large (an unusual perk not often granted to solo travellers) as was the bed. The bathroom was well appointed and clean. The shower was lovely. The staff were kind and helpful and allowed me to leave my baggage with them after check in as I explored the city. Their English was thankfully fluent and my Italian is... More

Modern and a bit lacking in character, this clean (almost sterile) hotel is conveniently located for all the sights of Padova (Italian for Padua!). Very friendly and efficient staff, helpful with restaurant recommendations and the general confusion that surrounds checking in and organising 7 individuals in different combinations of doubles, singles and twins. Charming city, easily accessible from the hotel.

I've stayed at a couple of different hotels in Padua....usually 3 -4 star......I think the Igea is a 3 star...lovely front of house personnel, nice room, comfortable walk (8-10 minutes) to the centre (Pedrocchi Cafe)...there is a nice restaurant next door.....granted the beds aren't always the best but you're not paying top dollar anyway.... nice hotel at a nice price

I found the hotel too noisey, noise echoed off the tiled hallways and staircases from opening and closing doors and the elevator, not from people talking or making noise. The elevators landings are between the floors, you either have to walk up a half flight of stairs or down. If you're handicapped this could be a problem. The hotel is... More

Good hotel, good location near Basilica ( few minutes walking), surrounded with a lot restaurants and patisseries. Safe garage and clean room, but noisy air conditioner. Very tasty breakfast, fresh croissants.

“Maybe if you ask a room facing the rear of the property, rather than the street side, it will be quieter. We had 101, 1st floor, with street view and light in the night from the hotel signs (shutter available).”

“We had a third floor (rear) room overlooking a green space, which at first seemd terrific, the hotel services operate in the same area on the ground floor, this said the morning activity had no impact on our sleep, would take the same room again if offered”
