We spent three lovely nights in this hidden gem nestled amongst the stunning alps. Perfectly located, Hotel Astoria is a short drive away from Courmayeur's beautiful town center, The Skyway, Val Ferret and the ski mountain--you have access to all the outdoor adventures Courmayeur offers (hiking, mountain biking, skiing etc!) In terms of accommodation, you'll immediately feel at home, the...

The people in the hotel are why it gets a high score from me. They will make you feel welcome and look after you well I'm sure. They even provided us transportation down to the ski lifts and picked us up when required. Rooms are clean and the beer is cold. An enjoyable stay.

We arrived late, tired and weary with a hungry and grumpy toddler in tow. Even during peak season Hotel Astoria had room for us. They immediately made us feel welcome. It was like a home. They quickly made dinner reservations for us to appease our hungry little girl. The room was basic, but comfortable and warm. The breakfast was the...

This hotel is perfect. Very reasonably priced for good accommodation and communal spaces, but most importantly of all brilliant hospitality from a group of very friendly staff and management who could not have done more for our group - serving with a smile at breakfast and the bar, phoning around many restaurants to make sure we had a table for...

Great hotel with the most friendly and welcoming staff. Cannot do enough for you. Would recommend staying here. Had a large group and nothing was an issue. Organised restaurants and local travel for us too.

Very pleasant hotel. Out of town, but bus is a 1 minute walk.hotel staff friendly and speak English. For skiers if you rent skis from local ski rental, they fetch you before ski and drop you afterwards. Hence, ski up in the shop. Major plus. You might as well be on ski slope hotel.. So convenient. The rooms are large and...

super cozy hotel with high quality furniture, we chose to book it because they accept pets and we have 2 dogs. wifi is available in every area; breakfast buffet was nice as well, you'll also be able to enjoy the view of Mont Blanc. so sad we only booked one night, I wish we would have stayed more!

We left the TMB early and asked to arrive early which was met with a gracious "yes". We had a nice sized room with a comfortable bed with comfy sheets and a terrific view of Monte Bianco. We needed some laundry to be done- also graciously agreed to for a reasonable cost. The breakfast is indeed VAST in a lovely...

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Astoria for 2 nights on our Tour du Mont Blanc trek and loved this place! The room was a bit dated and woody, but it did have a rain showerhead and comfortable mattress. The thing we loved most was help helpful and funny staff - the gentleman with the beard who usually...

I have stayed here several times on my way between Italy and France. This is a three star hotel that gives you a five star service. The rooms are always spotlessly clean. They have a delightful restaurant that serves excellent food. The staff are all, without exception, very friendly and helpful. I really am very glad that I have found...
