This was our first trip to Cervinia. We choose Hotel Marmor because it is close to the lift and in the town center. We are glad we did since the hotels on the mountain are quite a bit higher than the town and we probably would not have walked down the hill to enjoy the town in the evenings. Hotel Marmore is on the main walking street in Cervinia. We drove to the front door and was greeted by the valet who parked our car close by for the week. Once in Cervinia, a car is not needed. The check in process was short and smooth. The front staff was friendly and helpful. Our family of four stayed in a "classic quad room" which had a queen sized bed and two bunk beds. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. We had a nice view of the mountain. We opted for the breakfast only option for the meal plan. There was a large assortment of breads, fruits, yogurts, cereal, and continental type foods. There was also freshly made waffles with various toppings. The staff was very friendly and they really catered to make sure our stay was pleasant. We rented our skies from the shop next door (Cervinia 2001). They were fast to give us our skis and they had modern equipment. Hotel Marmor arranged for us to store our skies at the 2.0 ski shop which is closer to the lift and only about 30M from the hotel. It was nice to be able to ski right up to the shop and store the skis, helmet, boots, gloves and jacket in a heated locker to dry overnight. From there it was just a nice short walk to the hotel for apres ski. The hotel did serve wine and various cheeses in the lobby. The hotel manager-Wolfgang, check in on our stay frequently. The Wifi was excellent throughout the hotel. The next time I travel to Cervinia, I will definitely stay at Hotel Marmor again

Nice clean beautifully decorated room. We had a doubleroom on the 4th floor with a fantastic view of the village. Bed was comfortable. We will be bck in summer to hike andhope we can enjoy the balcony - in winter it is too cold to sit there. We had breakfast and dinner included. Food was delicious - breakfast as well as dinner! Service was very friendly - the reception as well as in the restaurant! The hotel is just a few steps from the Cretaz lift that takes you up to the lift system. Very convenient. On the other side of the street we had our skis and boots deposited in heated ”boxes” that guaranted dry warm skiboots every morning. Very, very good! Everything was just great and very much better than expected. We highly recommend the Marmore hotel for its location, nice rooms, warm and hearty atmosphere and exceptional italian food. A true heaven for all skiers!

The hotel is well located on the Main street of Cervimia, next to dozen of restaurants and ski shops and very close to the lifts. The rooms are large enough to accomodate two grow-ups per room, the restaurant and bar are located on the first floor. The breakfast and the dinner were excellent, the food delicious and the breakfast offered ll what you needed. The staff at the restaurant was friendly and very helpfull and the service fast. We never had to wait for any of the dishes and the service level and the friendliness eceeded all our expectations. We had an excellent stay. The only thing which we missed was a sauna.

Newly refurbished hotel. Really lovely tasteful decor creating a cosy and welcoming environment. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food delicious - amazing breakfast and dinners. Rooms nicely decorated, great bathroom, especially shower. Beds comfortable. Also loved the home-made biscuits and snacks that were on offer in the communal area in the afternoons. Easy walking distance to ski deposit place and then to lifts. Felt like much more than a 3 star hotel. Right in centre of the village and so close to all restaurants, shops etc. Only complaint was the level of the heating which when coupled with thick duvets made sleeping impossible till we discovered how to switch off radiator and opened window and slept with just duvet cover. Was told this is because the Italians like it hot and they can only control the heating by floor. Our floor was set at 23.5 C with 10 tog duvets !!!!!
