Detailed Reviews

Absolutely the best hotel in Cervinia. The location is second to none for skiing fans with the ski in and ski out convenience. The service is excellent and efficient. The ski room is big and all the lockers are well heated. Housekeeping service is absolutely efficient - 4 people showed up every morning and cleaned the room in no time. The Bontadini suite was stunning - large jacuzzi on the terrace and a sauna in the room. The bed is comfortable and the sitting room spacious. The bathrooms are modern and tasteful. Breakfasts are abundant with eggs cooked to order. Half board dinners are delicious and light and the choices are very enticing. Definitely the ski hotel to go to when skiing Cervinia Zermatt. Will definitely return.

We have an annual ski trip every year just before Xmas to warm up our legs but also to get into the spirit of Xmas surrounded by snow and mountains. This year we changed from our beloved Obergurgl to Cervinia in Italy. We researched a number of hotels and decided to stay at hotel Principe Della Nevi. The web site is an accurate representation of the actual hotel. Right from the start we had effective and effortless communication with Kristin the owner and her team. Always sets the tone for what can be expected when you actually arrive. On arrival we were assisted with our luggage and swiftly checked in and taken to our room. The property is beautiful and one of the few that is on the piste, ski in/out. It was recently remodelled and tastefully extended via a long passage celebrating the various Italian wine regions. Our room was beautiful with fantastic views and all the amenities and gadgets you need. The TV allows caring for those who want to stream and WiFi is good. Rooms are modern and ours had a Turkish shower etc. The jewel in the crown for us was the food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is just super delicious and the chef serving up delicious meals morning, noon and night. I believe there are trying for their first Michelin star which should not be a problem. Service, food and wine list is excellent. Getting ready for dinner in the cosy lounge and lovely fire place with some canapes and champagne is very enjoyable. In summary we cannot fault this hotel and have to thank Patrick and Kristin the owners. They have a beautiful hotel and lovely staff and it has been a real pleasure to stay there. Highly recommended without a shadow of a doubt! We will be back.

Everything about this place was fantastic - but the standout was the fantastic and friendly staff. Management obviously encourage staff to go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Everyone involved should be congratulated.

Stayed a week with two children for half term skiing. This hotel has become our new favourite. The attention to detail is superb and everything has been thought off. The rooms were small as expected but the quality of finish among the highest we have experienced. The dinners were outstanding but the service, particularly from Lorenzo and the rest of the restaurant staff was exceptional. Spa and fitness room very large and excellent (and even the two stretching machines were clearly placed for the skiier in mind). On our last morning the owner even opened the pool early for me. The only way this hotel could be improved is if the owners dog could have come for a walk with me ;). We will definitely be back.

It has a good location and the hotels optics are good. However, the service was 3 star and the crowed was very Russian and guests were eating dinner in tracksuits and wandering around the hotel (in the bar) in bathrobe post having been to the SPA. The food was good.

Spent 6 days here and enjoyed a lot. Great location (ski in and out) with fantastics views. Hotel is relatively small so you really get to know the staff and enjoy great service. Service was great. Dinner is also very good and we were well served on our sometimes challenging requests on timing, etc.
Highly recommended and will come back again!

We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Principe Delle Nevi. The hotel was beautiful and well-maintained, from the rooms to the outdoor swimming pool, and the food was delicious. But the highlight of the trip would have to be the friendly staff at the hotel. James and Kristin were so helpful and charming, and all the staff in the hotel made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible - nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is fantastic and we would like to thank everyone for making us feel so welcomed, and for the unforgettable New Year’s Eve party! A special mention must go to our ski instructor, Alex McNeill, who was very lovely - not only a brilliant instructor, but also a great bartender. We hope to see you all again before long, but thank you in the meantime!

I have just spent 10 nights in this fantastic hotel with my husband and adult children. Beautifully appointed throughout, amazing food and great service. Perfect ski in / ski out location and the wonderful spa and outside hot tub were the highlight of our holiday. The hotel owners did nothing but help from my first email to make an enquiry, throughout the booking process until check out. I really couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly! We also had a very experienced, helpful and fun ski instructor / guide (Angus McNeill) from Ride’em ski school who we will definitely return to ski with again. All round great experience!
