Fantastic modern well equipped apartment, with wonderful views of city centre and surrounding mountains, but in really old building. The room we had, has a small balcony looking out over the street and the town square. One other room has a window with similar view and the other is at the back (probably quieter) overlooking the courtyard. Lovely place to stay. The owners do not stay on site and you need to set up a meeting with them in advance of your arrival to collect the key and pay for your stay.

My partner and I stayed 3 nights at this lovely accommodation. The room is very modern, has everything you need and keeping in with traditional Italian style. We enjoyed the fantastic view of the alps on our balcony. The shared kitchen/ common area worked really well and was an additional bonus for this venue. Located right in the middle of town, it was just perfect! David was our host and made breakfast for us -every morning..The foods for breakfast were prepared with care and were unexpectedly exquisite! We are incredibly impressed by the accommodation and hospitality. Just perfect!

This was our fourth stay with the Bondaz family in Aosta. When visiting the area previously, we've been staying at the Maison Bondaz, which is run by the same family. This was our first stay at the newly opened Ma Ville - and Jeanette, David and Laurent didn't let us down this time either. Like Maison Bondaz, Ma Ville is located right in the center of the pretty town of Aosta. It's a small and very personal B&B style accomodation, three rooms only. There's a kitchen with a microwave oven, a refridgerator and a coffee machine at the disposal for the guests. The refridgerator was refilled daily with drinks such as sparkling water, beer and sodas available free of charge. To begin with, we had an en-suite room, very clean and fresh, not overly decorated. It is quite a small room; a double bed and a small desk is just about all that fits in there. The bathroom is averagely sized and very nicely furbished. On the practical side, one minor remark is that we did find the lack of space to put all the stuff you tend to carry with you when travelling a bit difficult (we were on a two week road trip through the alps). There is a big closet (with a beautiful old wooden door!). An opportunity for improvement would be to put some hooks on the wall to hang used clothes, jackets and bags on. But all that logistic stuff was soon forgotten - the BIG advantage of this room is the WONDERFUL balcony, or perhaps it's better called Terrace. It is maybe half the size of the room and faces the mountains surrounding Aosta. Since the building sits right on the shopping street we liked it that the Terrace is located in the opposite direction, i.e. towards the inner yard and the mountains. Coming back from trips in the mountains it was lovely to relax at the Terrace before going out for dinner. David, our host, was overly friendly and helpful, We managed very well with a mix of english and simple italian. Every morning he would bring us delicious dishes from Jeanette's kitchen at the Maison Bondaz. She uses locally produced ingredients, often from the family farm nearby, and it's diffucult not to try everything, every morning. The positive thing about that is that lunch expenses were very low. The weather was nice and we had breakfast at a terrace which is just outside the kitchen. Like already mentioned, the terrace is quite large (it's similar to the terrace in the room we had), however the table probably isn't big enough for more than four people, at least not with the huge breakfast that is served.... At the time of our stay, the other guests had breakfast inside (in the kitchen) - and in the warm season, perhaps that's one of the few brackdraws of this place, since the kitchen is quite dark (not many windows). I do think the home cooked dishes make up for that though. The Bondaz family really cares for their guests in the best possible way and it's almost like being a guest in someone's home rather than a hotel guest. One example of this is that every morning, I would get special dishes because of gluten intolerance. This may not seem like a big deal - if the meals weren't home cooked to the level which they are. Jeanette would go up early in the morning to prepare a special gluten free potato foccacia (delicious!) which was served fresh every morning. And instead of the home made cake - the Grand Finale of the breakfast - she would prepare panna cotta with jam from the family grounds (of course). I really felt spoiled and couldn't ask for anytning more. It is good to know that the B&B is only manned during breakfast and when guests arrive. That didn't bother us at all. If something happens that should require attention it is just a short walk to the Maison Bondaz - or the hosts are reachable via telephone. A good idea is to agree on the time of arrival in advance so that someone meets up at the front door at arrival. I highly recommend the Ma Ville to anyone travelling to Aosta and who wants a small-scale, friendly and personal accomodation for their stay. I would definately go there again.

We stayed in Ma Ville for 3 nights as a family of 5 with teenage children. Each of the three ensuite bedrooms we occupied, although not large were furnished to a very high standard. Lovely bedding, good quality towels. The views were wonderful, either of the old town or the Mountains. As we had booked all 3 rooms we had use of the common room to ourselves. There is an elevator which is useful and location is fantastic, you are literally right in the centre of Aosta Old Town and close to restaurants and shops. The breakfasts are superb and 6 star quality, plenty of variety, fresh and incredibly substantial. Parking options are close by. The hosts (we dealt mostly with Davide) were very helpful and we felt like we were staying with friends. It was an absolutely wonderful stay and do not hesitate to recommend Ma Ville and hope to stay again one day.

We stayed in Ma Ville while travelling through Italy with two children under two. We'd previously stayed at their other B&B, Bondaz, when we only had one baby and loved it. Jeannette recommended their newly renovated B&B as we would have extra space. And it was beautiful! Being welcomed by Jeannette was like being greeted by family, she is so warm hearted. Ma Ville is in a perfect location on the square with views from the bedroom balcony across the square to the mountains. An amazing home grown and delicious breakfast is served on the terrace on the opposite side, again looking out over stunning mountain scenery. We were also able to use the kitchen, so it was really more like having our own gorgeous apartment in Aosta. All facilities were superb, comfy beds, speedy wifi, lux bathrooms. We really love both Bondaz and Ma Ville and hope to keep coming back for years to come..
