My husband and I stayed in this hotel after a hiking trip with a friend over the Grand St Bernard Pass. This hotel was a very beautiful and welcome surprise. The rooms (we had a look at our friend's room) are very spacious and tastefully furnished. The bathroom is vast and receives plenty of daylight. We even had a balcony,... More

We stayed at this hotel while going to the Garda lake since we wanted to spent one night in Aosta. We had a good surprise, the hotel was recently renovated, the rooms are confortable and very well decorated; the atmosphere at the lobby is warm and welcoming. The staff was helpfull and pleasant. The reason why we are not giving... More

Charming city-center hotel right around from main square but on a less-busy street. front lobby invites you to find a comfy chair and hang out with a drink, a friend and a paper. Staff was helpful and efficient. If you're arriving in a car, be sure to let them know and request they save a spot in their underground lot.... More

The staff are very helpful and friendly, The room we had was comfortable and clean. We had visited Aosta as my husband wanted to drive his car on the St Bernard Pass, the start of which is just a couple of kilometres away. This hotel is right in the town centre, we would recommend booking the garage as parking is impossible. 15... More

A old school classic Italian hotel in a perfect location and to a fair price with decent rooms and good breakfast and service minded staff. Clean and big rooms and some with a balcony and a view with walking distance to everything. Recomended

Aosta Is surrounded by the Alps and perhaps that makes anything in Aosta better. Then again, one might expect that hotels don't have to be at their best. This hotel does not have that attitude. Like Aosta, it has a positional advantage being a short block from the main walking street in the "Old Town". Yet our room was newly... More

I can't say enough about the friendliness, knowledge, and helpfulness of the staff. Even beyond the typical, they helped me plan hiking routes and suggest off-route spots to visit. First class! Excellent room on the top floor with a large balcony overlooking the plaza and a/c. Parking garage. Right in the center of the historic section of town, easy walks... More

Stayed here in May as stopover to visit the Aosta valley with some friends. We booked three rooms. Don't be fooled by the façade of the hotel. What it lacks in charm on the outside it more than makes up for on the inside and the location is fantastic. The restaurant evening meal was interesting, that is to say, it... More

I’ve been to Aosta many times but this was my first say at Hotel Duca d’Aosta and most certainly won’t be my last. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel is superbly located near the centre of this beautiful town.

We booked a suite but asked to move to a room with a view. I believe it was a junior suite or deluxe room. In any event, ask for a room with a balcony! It was delightful to step out and see this beautiful area. Breakfast was very, very good in the restaurant, which was pretty. We walked just a... More
