We stayed in room 12 which had been updated since our last stay. Now the equivalent of a power shower in our room! Very helpful and friendly staff. Very warm and very clean rooms. We had a balcony which got the sun in the early evening - amazing after a days skiing. 20 mins walk to slopes and about 10 mins to town. Aosta is amazing!!! Pila has some of the best slopes in Europe- north facing and impeccably groomed. Room walls are a little thin, but nothing worryingly at all. Overall - great little hotel!!

We were beset by car trouble so had to overnight in Aosta while the city's finest wrestled with our machine. Taxi driver suggested this hotel, which was just what we needed. Friendly casual atmosphere, welcoming staff and wi fi that worked even when you stepped away from reception! (Worked great in out room.) Clean - good showers, quiet district - good restauant nearby (Caesars) very good breakfast (not all sweet buns!) and a young friendly clientele - we were the oldest there by a country mile. We slept like babies - no scooters, excessive partying, barking dogs or cows with Dolby cow bells. A slice of Italy we really enjoyed. Pity there is no air con in the rooms but hey - people survived for centuries without it. .

Hospitable owner lady, modest little hotel, but so was the price, great value. Comfortable clean room, bathroom, linens. Free wifi. TV. We stopped in Aosta for the night (without reservations) on our way from Geneva to Garda. Arrived late evening, and stayed till morning only, enjoyed a simple breakfast and coffee for just a couple Euro each, definitely worthwhile. A few minutes walk to city-center, but right near main streets, though on a quiet side street with free street parking (except Wed. mornings-cleaning). Friendly, and I guess we could have stayed longer if that was our destination. Simple, quaint, quiet, modest, secured.

The hotel is at walking distance from the the center (about 15 min.). Friendly and helpful owners. Very clean. Good bed linen and towels. The room was a bit outdated but with a great shower. The bed was uncomfortable. TV is wall mounted so high would be impossible to watch it.

We got snowed in and had to turn back on the way to Mont Blanc. We found this place as a recommendation. It looks like a small but quaint inn run by a very hospitable husband and wife team. The place is also walking distance from the town center. It's a great find.
