We chose to stay at Villa Tivoli in August 2016 during our wedding, and could not have been happier with our time there. The only thing we regret was not staying longer! From the very beginning, we were met with kind, professional, and extremely helpful hotel staff. Villa Tivoli is set in a serene and beautiful spot, with views of...

Hotel Villa Tivoli was a lovely hotel, and we loved our room. The swimming pool was open very late, and often empty. There was a relaxed aura around the hotel, with very late breakfasts and friendly staff. Our room was a "superior double with a balcony", and it was huge! The room was beautiful, large, accompanied by a lovely view...

We just returned from our two week vacation in Merano. We stayed in Villa Tivoli in a spacious room with a balcony with a beautiful view to the valley. The hotel is located in the end of a quiet street at a foot of a mountain. Hotel is run by Helga and Carl and their son Rudi with the rest...

We had high hopes of a pleasant stay at this hotel but sadly this was not to be. Following a long journey, we ran a bath, only to discover that the water was rust coloured. A quick call to reception and we were told that "we were the third person to report this" and "to allow the water to run"...

for the third time we spent some nights at this property - this time with 2 kids (2 & 4 y) in the AIDA apartment. This is a huge apartment (80m2) with small kitchen, 2 bathrooms and large bedroom. The surroundings are just great - lovely graden, nice terrace-restaurant outside and bright room inside. Breakfast could not be any better....

From the moment we walked through the doors we were treated wonderfully. Our suite was large, spacious and very clean. We had breakfast every morning on the terrace, surrounded by gorgeous plants, flowers and my favourite lemon tree! The view was beautiful! The pool was built into the mountain, small yet very clean with a wonderful view! Everything was set...

My wife and I are enjoying a 5 night stay at this beautiful hotel and have been impressed with so many aspects. The location is perfect being at the end of a very quiet road there is no traffic noise which is very rare for Italian towns and cities. You can walk into the very attractive centre of Merano in...

Villa Tivoli has been run by a family for over 50 years. A second generation is now very much involved. Their pride an skill are evident, following an Alpine tradition. They take a personal interest in your stay and add to its pleasure. This is a hotel of 30 rooms on the edge of Merano, a largish town in the...

At the end of a long lane this family run hotel has tonnes of charm and is just very slightly eccentric. It has nice views across the valley with some spectacular houses clinging to the almost vertical cliff face behind. The incredible gardens that have been built into the side of the adjacent mountain are an absolute joy. And the...

Upon our arrival we were greeted warmly and offered a glass of prosecco on the patio. The room was lovely with high ceilings and French doors opening to a small balcony and a view of the hills and vineyards. It is an easy 15-minute walk into Merano to restaurants and shopping. The Frauen Museum was a special find. There are...
