We stayed 2 nights in the "Thermae" penthouse suite (in our opinion the best of the 12 rooms) which had a whirlpool on the balcony. The room was great, the location smack in the middle of the central pedestrian area, and - best of all - the service we received from Barbara was absolutely amazing: always friendly and helpful. She...

My wife and I stayed at the Boutique & Design Hotel Imperial Art for 4 nights in early September, during a hiking trip to the Dolomites. Our room was terrific - modern, clean and comfortable. Somehow the room was always quiet, even though we fronted on the main pedestrian street in the area. And I can't say enough about the...

Very nice small hotel. Excellent location right in the center of Meran. Excellent quality of the hotel rooms, each is different, each a piece of art on its own. Very helpful, friendly and informal interacton with the ladies at the reception. Really a "Bijou"!

My friend and I stayed at the ImperialArt hotel in early August. Everything was fantastic. The staff was super nice. The room was charming. We had a balcony that overlooked the main pedestrian street of Merano. The air-conditioning worked great, the room was quiet. They even provided a bag with a bathrobe and towel for the nearby spa. I would...

My husband and I stayed here for four nights. It was our first visit to Trentino-South Tirol, and we wanted a hotel within walking distance of shops and restaurants, and within an easy drive to hiking areas in the Alps – as well as within an hour or so of other Tirolean towns for day trips. For us, the top...

No lobby - the reception area was about the size of a closet. You've got to be kidding me. You can't trust Trip Advisor if this 2 star hotel can masquerade as a 4 star hotel. 300 euros a night? You have got to be kidding. Trip Advisor should look into why this hotel has the ratings it has. We...

For our one night stay in Merano we selected 'ImperialArt' hotel due to its design and location. And we were so right. The hotel is ideally located, within the pedestrian area of Merano (but you can enter by car to deliver/pick-up your luggage). To park the car is easy since the parking lot is near-by (3 minutes walk). Since we...

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Imperial Art Hotel in Merano/Meran. It is a truly delicious boutique hotel in the very center of the city. We stayed in the Alpine room with its slick, relaxing nordic design. The extra plus was the jaccuzzi on the terrace with a view on the mountains and the historic Kurhaus. Great to...
