Garni Silbernagl was the perfect referral from a friend who had stayed there previously. We had driven 5 hours from our last destination and were ready for a good rest. Petra greeted us as we drove up and was incredibly helpful. The place is a B&B and the rooms were impeccable. Clean, comfortable and a breathtaking view sums up Garni... More

We stayed in Silbernagl in Sept 2016. We had a great room and a nice time. Petra was a font of knowledge and obviously loved the Dolomites and Seisser Alm. She gave us maps, answered questions and was a joy to meet. The room had stunning views, the hotel was very well equipped and although we always bring swimsuits, this... More

We had 3 nights at Garni Silbernagyl. Petra is very helpful, beautiful lodge & stunning region. We rented a car in Verona & drove up the autostrasse to Castelrotto. Going back to Venice, we took the Dolomite road which as very scenic & well worth the trip! Gorgeous mountains! Make sure you stop at the museum in Bolzano to see... More

We stayed at Garni Silbernagl (which Petra says means silver nail) for four nights. The weather was less than ideal but, we still managed to have a nice visit. The B&B is extremely clean, quiet, well-maintained, and decorated in South Tirolean theme. The breakfast was good, and the hotel located close to Castelrotto central. Petra was a wonderful conversationalist and... More

I came to Castelrotto to hike in the mountains above the Alpe di Siusi and the accommodations were perfect for my objectives (location and comfort). First, Petra, the owner/inn-keeper, is absolutely amazing. When I arrived, she provided me an orientation to the town, the accommodations and provided me suggestions about my planned hikes (which I ended up changing due to... More

Immaculate and beautifully appointed accomodations and an innkeeper, Petra, who makes you feel at home. In addition to charming guest rooms with views of the mountains, there is an indoor pool with enclosed solarium, and a beautiful outdoor garden. It is in a quiet neighborhood, just steps up the hill from the downtown area. Petra is from Castelrotto and is... More

We enjoyed five nights at Haus Sibernagl in June and could not have chosen a better spot. Located in a historic town rich with history, the B&B also is a short walk to the center of town and bus station, providing easy access to a wide range of other towns and walking trails in the Dolomites. Petra serves a lovely,... More

Centrally situated and our hostess was very knowledgeable (in many languages) and really helped us to get the most out of our visit. We had some excellent walking on the Alpe di Siusi and the wildflowers were abundant. Our visit co-incided with the Oswald von Wolkenstein Riding Tournament and it was great fun. I would recommend anyone going in early... More

We stayed three night at this very well appointed hotel. Petra, the proprietor, was very gracious and accommodating. We has a family room for my wife and I and our two daughters and were very comfortable. Breakfast was included and was a great way to start a day exploring the scenic dolomite surroundings. Petra was a wealth of information about... More

Our stay at Silbernagl couldn't have gone any better and that is due mostly to the hotel hostess, Petra. She is bright, bubbly, personable, and a wealth of information on anything and everything to do in the region. We went a bit early in the hiking season and she was able to tell us which rifugios would be open so... More
