... my comforter and pillow had definitely not been washed for a while. Other than that, breakfast is decent, lounge area is spacious and bright, rooms are overall clean but those overlooking the station side are really noisy.

This youth Hostel is conveniently located. The Ice Man Museum and the pick up for Castle R is within walking distance. The Christmas market is just 2 mins away from it and there is a provision shop behind the hostel. The breakfast was a wide selection of italian breakfast. ( No Eggs. No Ham ) But filled with nice cereal and yogurt and bread and beverages. Nice place to stay for those on a budget. Not a party hostel, so noisy people may not feel at home. We love this hostel and is the best so far for us. We stayed in European hostels mainly for our travels. Strongly recommended for responsible tourists.

Just next to the train station, so makes it perfect if you go to Bolzano by train. It gets a little tricky if you go with a car. Parking spot is a little of issue as the hostel is close to the old town. Location is awesome you can walk to the old town. Some earplugs could come in handy, as it’s in front of the train station. If you are a breakfast person, this is a hostel for you. Breakfast is the best that I’ve seen so far in different hostels.

We stayed at this hostel for 4 nights. In advance we had asked if they offer free parking. They told us that there is no free parking at their place but on the street and that we can get a free parking ticket. When we arrived the guy from the hostel gave us the free parking ticket and told us where we could park. There were only approximately 15 parking spots and all vacant so we had to park in a paid garage. Parking has been very expensive which is really sad because we chose this rather expensive hostel because of the free parking. It didn't bother the employees that much. The other days we tried again and drove more than 15 rounds along the parkings spots to hope people would leave. Very time consuming unfortunately. Besids the parking issues, the breaksfast was good and the rooms are clean with enough lockers. Our room also had a spacious balcony which was really nice.

I slept at the hostel only one night and it was on the overall a good experience, luckily I didn't ear any noise from the building site, so it probably depends on where the room is. Staff was very friendly abd helpful, I also had a suggestion about where to go for dinner and it has been amazing. The room was alright, clean, not too big (I was in a mixed dorm for 4 people), also the breakfast was good and the position of the hostel is perfect, only 5 minutes from the train station. It's definitely recommendable for the price it costs!
