Placed in a strategic position with respect to all city's connection services : in the centre of Turin, next to Porta Nuova railway station and near to the airport terminal service, the through roads leading to the motorways , and the Metro line. In an aristocratic ancient palace, dating beginning of the 19th century, 41 flats and suites with an area from 40 to 100 square metres, are designed and furnished with a particular care for the smallest details and with perfect taste and functionality, in them style and elegance melt harmonically and fluently with the warmth and the energy of a modern environment.

Detailed Reviews
I stayed here for the 2nd time and I have no regrets. I cannot say anything bad about this aparthotel. The staff is very heartwarming, welcoming, eager to help with your problems and questions. I do not remember any other hotel with such a humane attitude towards the arriving people. Thank you very much for your support and help!
Another great thing about Sacchi Residence is that the rooms are kept very clean and tidy, the cleaning service is done very day except for Sunday. The apartments are located 5 min walk from Porta Nuova station and provided with everything that you need for living.
The only thing which I did not like was the location. There is a shop nearby, which is great, also the way to the Metro is only 5 mins, there are some cafes and gelaterias, but this is the area around the railway station, so... Not the most pleasant street to walk around. But for me it was not a big deal. So if you are fine with that, believe me, this is the best place to stay at in Turin if you want an apartament.

We booked a deluxe apartment from this hotel with our kids. I highly recommended this flat for their warm hospitality and very clean rooms. Location is excellent when you travel by train and to the city center it takes just 10 minutes by walk. Overall, it was remarkable and satifying moment staying here when we visited Turin. Highly recommended!

Residence Sacchi looks a bit grotty on first impression because of the graffiti on the surrounding area, but once inside we were pleasantly surprised. The Apartment we got was huge and had all the amenities we required, beds were comfortable and complimentary coffee was appreciated. The Apartment is a little dated in parts but nothing that you cant put up with.
The location is handy for the railway and city centre.
We enjoyed our 3 days in Turin and would certainly return.

Very warm welcome at the reception which gives you information on how to get around the city of Turin because we arrived on a day of tram, metro, bus strike.
The spacious and very clean room welcomes you with a bouquet of flowers, without forgetting the calm.
Thanks to the whole team.

We stayed at Residence Sacchi for two nights in January, 2012, and chose it primarily because of its location to the train station (as we had a very early morning trip to France). At the end of the day, we were very happy with our stay there, its great budget, self-contained accommodation, but booking here will really depend on what you are wanting/looking for. It would be great for families or large groups wanting to stay together, for people wanting easy access to the train station (like us), business people on a quick trip, or people on a budget. I would not recommend Sacchi if you are a couple wanting a romantic trip to Turin – it just didn’t have that vibe at all.
The rooms were large and clean, with good kitchen and bathroom facilities.
The staff are faultless, incredibly friendly and hospitable. They were willing to help with any questions, and were happy to recommend places to visit, eat etc. The staff are probably the hotels best asset and should be commended for their service.
Location is ok. Didn’t have the best feel to it, typical of any busy area around a train station. Despite this, it is still very close to the centre of the city. You could easily take the scenic walk to the centre of the city, or jump on a tram and get there the quick way. There are lots of supermarkets around and places to eat.
My only issue with the hotel was the stale smell of cigarette smoke that wafted through the building. I realise this is personal taste, and that a lot of people smoke in Europe, but being a non-smoker, I found it bearable, but unpleasant. Perhaps guests are allowed to smoke, in which case I would probably research this further next time.
I’m sure most people would be really happy to stay here, as we were, but if I did return to Turin for an extended stay, I think I would possibly pay more and head closer to the centre of the city…as I said earlier though, it depends on what you want from your accommodation and trip to Turin!

Good location, the hotel is easy to reach from Porta Nuova (took the SFMA train from airport to Torino Dora, then bus 52 to Porta Nuova). Although the area of the hotel is a bit sketchy, we never felt unsafe or had any problems. It's a bit further to walk into the main centre and sights (Palazzo Reale etc.) but tram 4 stops right in front, is cheap, and takes you there. You can buy the tram tickets at the hotel reception.
Staff is amazing all around. Our apartment was spacious and clean, good beds, all modern amenities, good airco, nice flat screen TVs, kitchen, big bathroom with even a small washer in it and spacious shower. Good free wifi.
On the day we rented a car, we were lucky enough to park right in front of the hotel and the parking was free.

Have now stayed three times. Been in Apartment 8 each time, but I have the impression that they are all similar.
An excellent experience all around. Helpful service, good quality rooms, excellent value for money.
Some reviews cast doubt on the area, but they shouldn't. It is completely safe and very convenient.
There are excellent markets just around the corner, and I'd recommend Pfatisch at 42, Via Sacchi for your morning coffee and pastry.

Booked this based on the tripadvisor rating. The rooms are large for the price you pay and the location to sites is decent. However, it is at a quite slightly dodgy location near the train station and I would feel unsafe as a female traveller. The decor is dated and whilst one of the reception staff is lovely, the other is confusing and rather unhelpful. Noisy from street noise and trains even though we were on the higher levels.

Response from SacchiStaff, Guest Relations Manager at Residence Sacchi
Responded Oct 11, 2013
Dear Client, Thank you for your comments on TripAdvisor regarding your stay at Residence Sacchi. We are always pleased to read what our guests thinks, as it really does help with our commitment to continually review and improve the service we provide. We make every effort to ensure all our guests enjoy a truly memorable experience at Residence Sacchi , but admittedly on this occasion we appear to have let ourselves down and we are sorry and disappointed about this. We aim to ensure all our guests receive a warm and friendly welcome, useful information, genuine service throughout their stay and I am disappointed that some of our team fell short of expected customer service standards. From previous reviews and other general guest feedback, our team generally receives a lot of praise for their customer focus. But admittedly, things do slip at times and your comments help us in our ongoing efforts to improve guest service and relations. We really apologize for the noise on Via Sacchi. All the windows facing the street are soundproof and rarely do we have noise complaints regarding traffic. We understand how annoying this could be and we also have to state our deepest disappointment that any of us was not made aware of any of the comments during your stay. Please accept our sincere apologies once again for not delivering a satisfactory experience for you in this occasion and we hope these incidents will not deter you from visiting us again in the future to restore your faith in us. Many Thanks and Kind Regards!

I stayed at Residence Sacchi during my recent visit to Turin. The property is located just a short walk away (as in down the street) from the train station. This came in handy, particularly when I had to catch the train in the wee hours of the morning upon my departure. (Staff had not yet arrived for work when I left, so they had me leave my room key in a designated area when I vacated the property.)
The property is located in a working class neighborhood, a bit on the gritty side. However, this is not to say it is a dangerous area. I walked most everywhere during my visit and I felt very safe there.
I stayed in Room 16. My room had all of the amenities that made me feel at home: a kitchenette with a sink, stove (with 4 burners), dishwasher, mini refrigerator, microwave, a washer and dryer and television set. I liked that I was able to pick up groceries from the local markets and have a place to safely store them - especially the perishable items.
My apartment was quite roomy. Even though I traveled alone, it was evident to me that I could have easily shared this apartment with another person (or two) and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out comfortably. Near the entryway sat a built in bar area with two chairs. This is in addition to the dining room table, 4 chairs and a large sectional in the living room. The sectional wasn't particularly comfortable; it sits very low to the ground, making it a bit difficult for those of us who are less agile to get up easily. However, this really wasn't an issue for me because I did not spend much time in my room.
The bedroom was quite simple and no frills, but the bed was comfortable to sleep in.
The bathroom was huge by Italian standards and decorated in bright red tile. The shower is encased in glass and also was quite big. Water pressure and temperature from the shower was perfect, as well.
My room overlooked a little courtyard area on the side of the building where guests can spend time. However, my room was pretty quiet. I could not hear much noise from the outside.
As for the neighborhood itself, several of the shops on the street were vacant. Except for a decent little restaurant next door to the property, there wasn't much in the way of shops or restaurants. I had to walk several blocks to find these. There was, however, a postal store down the street from the property. I was able to utilize this to ship home souvenirs and other items so I didn't have to lug them around.
Staff were pleasant and professional.
I would stay here again when visiting Turin.
