Lovely hotel tastefully furnished within the former Fiat car plant with roof top test track as made famous by “The South Preservation Society” & their Mini’s. Nice clean large rooms all with furniture of the original period. This hotel is really nicely done and is a must for any fans of the Italian Job. Though a way from the centre of Turin you will find a nice bicycle path along the nearby River Po which I did & a great way to see Turin which is well worth a look. There is a Metro stop nearby and a large shopping centre on your doorstep. Breakfast is served at the hotel but for evening meals one has to go out.
Stayed here once Italy declared a lock down of the country. Fantastic staff could not be more professional during a difficult time. Treating me as one their own. Sometimes i was the only guest but the hotel operated as normal. Special thanks to the restaurant workers who always made me smile even though i was a long way from home and missing family. Hotel has all you could want clean comfortable rooms, close to shopping mall, Metro, Eatlay, automobile museum and nice walks along the river Po. Big thanks to all the staff.
This hotel checks all the boxes - location, service, cleanliness, value, breakfast. In addition to that, there is a shopping complex above the facility and the stay includes free access to the Fiat test track on the roof. DO NOT PASS THIS UP! It’s so cool!! The automobile museum is right across the street, the metro is practically right outside the door and they have the most adorable selection of dog food and treats for your canine companion. When I return to Torino I’ll be staying here again. One item to note for North American travellers - bed sizes are different here. A North American double is called a Queen here and a North American Queen is called a king. So if you want a standard Queen-sized bed you need to ask for a king. (We were told our room had two queen-sized beds and they were actually doubles). Room for improvement- they still provide mini toiletries in plastic bottles and there’s no recycling in the room - easily circumvented with our own environmentally-friendly travel habits. …
We were placed in this hotel by BA after delay due to Storm Ciara. At short notice the hotel accommodated 150 people and served a lovely evening meal. Equally lovely breakfast. The staff deserve a huge thanks.
A quick one night visit to attend AutoMotoRetro 2020 classic car show. The hotel created in the architecturally famous FIAT Lingotto art-deco factory with its banked, roof-top test track and home to production of classic FIAT 500, is ideally placed a couple of 100 metres from the exhibition hall. The room I was given was large and airy, beautifully fitted-out. The staff were attentive and helpfull. The breakfast not the fullest on offer these days in Italy particularly short in hot food. Nevertheless a great visit and conventient for the Agnelli Pinacoteca (Gallery) up on the roof with views to the snowy alps.
