Stayed for a couple of nights whilst in Turin, was welcomed by the lovely host, who made us feel right at home immediately. The room was had everything we needed, including an espresso machine and new espresso pods provided daily. A good breakfast of fresh croissants delivered by the host was a great way to start the day. For £60 a night, you couldn't have asked for anything more.

Clean and recently furnished bedrooms. Decoration is nice and bedrooms are quite comfortable. Two shared bathrooms/WC for 6 bedrooms available. Very good breakfast served from 8am to 10am (we needed it a bit earlier one day and it was not a problem). A bit noisy at night because the pension if located on a quite busy street and has no double glazing windows. Better be with your phone, we had to call in order to have the pension opened. Nice staff.

The pensione Duca can be highly recommended as a place to stay in Turin. We stayed for a week and Signore and Signora Boldrini were very friendly, helpful and very, very patient when we tried to talk to them in our not very good Italian. The bedrooms are large, clean and well furnished. They provide a wide choice for breakfast. Their coffee is excellent. There are also many restaurants nearby with La Tropicana being the pick. Turin is a marvellous city. The buildings and architecture are very fine. The Egyptian Museum in particular is worth a visit. The city transport system is impeccable. You have trains, suburban trains, buses and trams to choose from. Go there if you get a chance!

Stayed there for one night with a friend and found it to be a really great experience - helpful service, good food, OK location and great sleep quality - for a fair price. However, it was difficult to actually get in! Receptionist\manager, who was lovely but didn't know English, wasn't there during check-in time, and we had to wait for 35 min for her to arrive after calling her. Also, we attempted to contact the hotel for three days by intensive calling and physically going there to retrieve a left behind item but couldn't reach them - which was extremely frustrating. However, I feel this is probably a unique experience, so I would still recommend staying in this hotel.
