This B&B is in a beautiful part of Turin near to gardens, the Po river and a short walk into the city centre. Our host Nicolette was so charming and generous and could not have done enough for us. She had lots of good suggestions for site seeing. The room on the third floor of an elegant building was beautifully... More

On arriving at the tall brown doors that gain you access to the B&B, you can feel that you are at the wrong address. However; step through these doors and you enter an area of calm and beautiful apartments. On arriving at the front door of the B&B, we were welcomed by Nicoletta who is the perfect hostess. We had... The Poeta was the perfect place for us to stay during our week in Turin, a lovely and fascinating old Italian city that seems to be undiscovered by tourists. At least until I finish writing this review! The b and b is centrally located, easy walking distance from almost everything you'd want to see in Torino, including lots of wonderful... More

Nicoletta is a wonderful and charming hostess. The B'nB is part of of her apartment on the third floor of a building across from Parco Valentina. Be aware that you must look for a small brass nameplate which simply says BnB. We stayed in the Antonella room with a lovely balcony where you could have coffee or a picnic or... More

Loved staying here during our visit to Turn. The rooms are gorgeous with the added value of a balcony! The owner is fantastic, lovely and charming - did everything to make our stay a pleasure! The location is in walking distance of the train station and all the major sights. Prefect value for money and will return.

Of all the city's in North Italy, Turin may be one of the lesser known, but it's certainly one of the most pleasant to discover. Of all the B&B's in Turin, L'Orso Poeta (The Bear-Poet) is very probably the best one to stay at. It's located on the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, close to the river Po and just opposite... More

All'Orso Poeta is a B&B run by Nicoletta who lives in the apartment next door. It is made up of 2 ensuite bedrooms, a small dining area and small kitchen which generally Nicoletta uses to prepare kitchen. It is on the 3rd floor and there is a lift. The apartment is situated in a typical old Italian building. You enter... More

If you want a lovely room with a great welcome you can surely do no better than stay in Nicoletta's B&B. Imagine stepping back in time to a genteel era, and having a favourite Italian aunt look after you. Filled with fine furniture and pictures, there's a view over the park from one room and over the rooftops to Turin's... More

Gorgeous furnishings throughout - immaculate and comfortable. We even had a porch overlooking a small courtyard where we could sit and recover from the day's sightseeing with a glass of wine. Access to small kitchen, complimentary coffee/water/snacks/wifi - we felt thoroughly spoilt. Walk to sites, tram directly outside if you need to travel further out. Right on main road, but... More
