This B&B was a great find for us, needing a place to lay our heads near to the bus stop as we had an early bus to catch to Malpensa after a weekend break for a friends' wedding. We wanted to spend the day sightseeing in Turin, knowing that we didn't have far to go the next morning. This B&B was absolutely perfect for this on many levels. We arrived around midday and one call to the owner saw him arrive within five minutes to hand over the keys and let us in. The B&B is a flat, with three rooms and a shared kitchen and living room. It does feel like someone's house although the owners don't live there, but it clean and cosy. Our room was a decent size although the bathroom was tiny, and with the living room to use as well, there's plenty of space. The kitchen is left stocked with breakfast items such as yogurts, juice and toasts, which again, was helpful with an early departure. Being right by Porta Susa train station is perfect, a two minute walk, and made the B&B ideal for us for one night. I don't think it would suit us for a longer stay, but for what we needed, it was spot on. One tip though - you'll need to pay by cash, and given how few cash machines there seem to be in Turin, make sure you have enough money on you!

We spent a couple of days in Turin at the end of a ski holiday - and staying at Casa Crema felt like borrowing a friend's flat. You have free use of the fully equipped kitchen and lounge, together with the occupants of the one other room. The apartment is in quite a smart area, despite being almost next to Porta Susa station, and 20-30 minutes walk takes you to anywhere you want to visit in the city centre (or the 56 bus runs there every 10 minutes). The friendly owner is a phone call away if needed and obviously drops by most days to top up supplies in the kitchen. You make your own breakfast when you want it (ideal for when we had to be out in time for the 0740 train on our last morning) and there's plenty to choose from (except no hot chocolate - in Turin! - and no fresh bread, so we brought our own back from the shops).
