As English speakers traveling in Italy, we felt so lucky to meet the desk staff at Hotel Olina. Fluent in English, the staff helped us to obtain rooms for 5 nights and locate the local attractions we wanted. We had two different rooms during our last-minute stay: both looked out over Piazza Motto, so we were able to throw open... More

Price and quality match, rooms are spread out over different locations. We stayed at Mansarde. Very large family room for four. Clean, good bathroom & shower. Big beds. Location is perfect in the middle of the town. One remark: two broken windows so they couldn't be closed. Breakfast is at another location, in the central square is very very nice.... More

The "hotel" seems to have several buildings at different locations, within walking distance from the main office/reception. There is only one person at the desk so each time there is someone to check in the receptionist has to take them round to their room which may be 5 to 10 minutes walk away, so anyone else who is in reception... Excellent location and nice area. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially (Selena). They have a car park but don't get with the car to the hotel! it's in the old area of the towns and cars are not allowed. Contact them and they will let you know where the parking is. (otherwise you will struggle finding parking and... More

This is a no-frills, 2-star property with basic but clean accommodation in the centre of Orta San Giulio offering a great base for exploring this wonderful little town. Don't go with too high expectations and you will thoroughly enjoy your stay, just as we did. We stayed in July and didn't miss the air conditioning as the stone walls were... More

There were some down points of this hotel, but all in all in was alright. The owners have numerous structures in town, so the building we stayed in was not the same place as breakfast, and the one building with wifi for us to use was also a different location than ours. The included breakfast, to be eaten at the... More

We spent a long weekend at the Olina. The stay was pleasant and we took advantage of the central location of the hotel. Everything is within reach. The ferry pier is around the corner, the restaurants just down the street. Breakfast is served in a bar, away from the hotel, and is very good. The personnel is efficient and courteous.... More

Rooms are basic but have everything needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and room was clean. Great location however we couldn't find where the breakfast was so missed it but we should have got up earlier! A great hotel if watching the pennies, would recommend to anyone.

We booked this hotel in the middle of august, last minute. Basically at peak touristic side. Given this time of year I found that we got a great room for the price we paid! It is located right in the center of Orta which is a very nice village. Parking is a bit far away.. but the place is car... More

We stayed one week in the olina and thoroughly enjoyed it. The quaint hotel room we had on second floor was basic but adequate. A little too dark though. The staff were charming. The restaurant was lovely. One thing I must mention tho is please take a lot of mosquito spray. The minute you step outside you will be eaten... More

“The street level rooms are literally ON the street. There are very few cars that drive by because it is a primarily pedestrian zone, but those that do are driving directly in front of the window, by your bed, and head!, so can be loud for light sleepers.”

“We stayed in "Simba" on the second floor across from the hotel office. The room opened out onto a shared balcony with a little bench and a small view of the lake, which was a real sun trap for sitting and reading. Some noise @ night from the Cafe des Arts but nothing that prevented a good night's sleep.Spotlessly clean, fresh towels each day.”
