We stayed here in January 2016 for 3 nights. At first, the European room and bathroom size surprised us. But the Andrea at the front desk gave us a better room and from there it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from Lima metro station and you can get anywhere in Milan by metro. Breakfast... More

Good location. Poor facilities. Basic breakfast. Conditioning air/heating does not work properly. Lot of noise on room ground floor. No soap/shampoo refilling. Iam not sure that I could return to this facility in the future.

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in, the rooms are TINY, the shower is so small that I was scared of getting stuck if I tried to lift my hands up over my waist and I'm 5 foot 10" 93 kilos. The carpets are worn out as you can see in the pictures there are... More

This hotel has had the rooms recently refurbished, although the stairwells have not yet been done. The main atrium (as per the picture) is very impressive, but doesn't actually do much. The oddest thing about this updated hotel is that they still hand out keys for the rooms and give you your television remote when you check in. The rooms... More

I have an Ibis card and I paid 80E for the night. I usually stay at another Ibis nearby but I decided to try this one. Those at the reception were rude. While I must compliment the people working in the breakfast room downstairs (in a depressing room without windows) were very polite! I know I'm overly critical (being an architect)... More

The hotel it's in a good location if you are taking a train from centrale station, walking distance. The hotel it's still under refurbishing to becomes a ibis, at least that how it looks, no card keys, you have to drop your old key style at the reception. Good size rooms, with average bathrooms, I could heat almost everything from... More

Very helpfull staff, good location, very good breakfast, but it is certainly not an ibis styles hotel, i would say it's a minimum budget hotel - if you are talking about rooms. I have been visiting many ibis styles hotels last years in Spain, France, Austria or Italy. That's not one of them, they should change the logo :-)

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
