This would be fine in cooler weather but after walking both ways once, as it was so hot, we decided to take the metro which is about 5 mins walk from... More

Quite far from the city center, but very close to the underground station. Parking available some 3 min. walking from the hotel, which was good. Hotel is somehow strange and noisy, but not totally bad. Breakfast was good (no vegetables at all). Staff at the reception was pleasant.

I spent one night here after arriving in Italy and before heading off by train from Milano Centrale. It's about a 15 minute walk to the station. Tiny room but clean and decent for the price I paid - about 68 euros. I believe it was a special opening rate. While the room was newly renovated and the lobby is... More

We were here as a large group of 25. The hotel is very close to the Lima metro station and you could walk to Stazione Centrale in 15 min. Corso Buenos Aires is behind the corner, with plenty of shops. The rooms are simple, the breakfast is good, with a barista making coffee. I stayed in a big family 2-level... More

Arrived early and left our bags in storage. Went around the corner and hopped on the red hop on hop off tourist bus. Easy walk to main train station which is also why we chose this hotel. Fine for one night. Nice little bar next door and a couple of restaurants near by. Shopping street around the corner which was... More

From train station Centrale it is a 10 minutes walk or use metro to the station Lima. Hotel is still under renovation but comes with a fresh look. Rooms are clean and spacy shower in our room was tiny. Wifi was good. Breakfast is served in basement and was good. Fresh brewed italian coffee - Espresso - Cappucino - Macciato... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
