Good location but very bad and cheap feelings inside the hotel, the door seems is made of paper, you can hear the loud Italian next door. Maximal a hostel standard. I don't recommend this hotel if you need a good night sleep.

I spent here just one night and I had a single room ... or better a tiny single room! Despite the reduced dimensions, the bed was quite comfortable and larger than usual, but the bathroom had only the stricly necessary and the tv (luckily a flat one) was very close with the bed. Good for one night sleep. Very nice... More

Perfect location near fortress A renovated building with new modern rooms. Immaculately clean with modern bathroom. Excellent friendly helpful staff with warm smiles. Really enjoyed a full North American breakfast which included eggs done any style - a rarity in this class of hotel in Italy. Excellent value for money. Will return again!

If you want to stay very centrally in Milan and don't mind no frills accommodation then this isn't a bad option. It's 50m from a metro stop and 300m from Sforza Castillo. It's also right next to one of the main shopping streets leading to Duomo. The hotel itself is clean and modern inside and the staff are friendly enough... More

If you stay at this hotel make sure it is the "Downtown" hotel as our confirmation had the address of the out of the other Genius hotel which meant our cab ride there was a mistake. The downtown Genius is very contemporary, small rooms, very clean, and a fabulous location.

Just back from a 3-night stay here for a business trip. Initially happy with hotel, great location (very close to a metro stop). The room was small however, totally adequate and clean. On the second morning I had no hot water in the shower and there was an odour from the drains. I let the staff know, and they said... More

The hotel is not easy to find as it is tucked away with little signage on a small street. On the surface it looks like a modern hotel which is why we chose this one. when we arrived, our rooms were not ready. Since we had to return our rental car anyway, not a big deal so we dropped our... More

I stayed here twice, both for business reasons. The hotel itself is very well located for Milan. Its also walking distance to the Malpensa Express train terminal, its less easy to connect to Linate. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, speak very good English and were able to answer any questions I had. The rooms are small, but... More

If you have a food problem! We sent mails that no one answer about the lactose problem because of the breakfast. No one answered! No one told us that we need to carry our special food! When we talk with the reception we was told OK as an answer!!!!

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
