Excellent location, breakfast was better in compare with other hotels in Milan. Friendly, smiling and helpful staff. Special thanks to Valentina as she did her best with my aircondition problem. Elevator can be more up to date. A bit confusing with its up or down move order if there is more than 1 person in it.

The location of the hotel is great, it is located on small quite street. The hotel itself is clean with friendly staff. Very good breakfast. The remote controller of the air conditioner didn't work so I had to call the reception every time I wanted to set the AC but the lady of the reception was very kind to help... More

Hotel Genius is minutes from shopping and the duomo. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was very good. After a day of traveling, it was great to get into a shower that was large and had great water pressure. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend the stay.

Staff was especially friendly and helpful and we felt ourselves very welcome at the Genius Hotel from the first step to check out. Breakfast was delicious-remember ask omelette ;-). After all, the location was very good to start to watch Milano and to go shopping. We warmly recommend the hotel.

Great location. Very nice modern room als well as bathroom. Unfortunately no mini-bar. Check in not professional and no free city maps. It was comfortable to be able to leave the luggage at the reception after check out

Very nice hotel in a very central location. Room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The room was a little small compared to US hotels but it was large enough to be comfortable and not feel cramped. The staff that we met and interacted with were outstanding. They spoke good english and they are very helpful with dining... More

First of all the location of the Hotel is very convenient for a short Milan visit. The staff is friendly and the stay was overall enjoyable. It was our first visit to Milan an we did not need to take the metro or tram to get around.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. As said in numerous other reviews it is perfectly located close to every thing. 2 minute walk from the Metro & castle. 5-10 mins from the D'uomo. 5-10 mins from Cadorna train station which has an express train to Malpensa Airport. As for the hotel itself it's decent. The staff were great and... More

With little effort, we parked our car 2 blocks away in the nearby parking garage (pricey, but hey, it's Milan). We walked and in seconds were on the main pedestrian street. Walking distance to Duomo, restaurants, shops, etc. Rooms were decent size. The reception area is quite small, but the help was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast buffet included was... More

We stayed two days at this hotel and found it convenient for a short stay in Milan. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We were able to walk easily to the the centre of the city from the location, and cafes and a small supermarket were reasonably close by. Our room was very clean with nice linen and the... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
