My husband and I arrived to the hotel after we had done a Best of Milan Walking Tour with Skip-the-line Duomo & Last Supper. After the tour ended, we were about one mile from the duomo. Then we walked from there to the hotel with our luggage..about 15 minutes. (BTW, we stored our luggage through LuggageHero near the duomo). By the time we got to the hotel I was exhausted and my legs were killing me. Muzio greeted us like we were long lost family. So wonderful! There is a lift. The room is exactly like the pictures shown here. We had the one with the two dusty mauve chairs. So much room, large bath room and entrance way. Good English options for the t.v. One of the best parts was breakfast. They deliver it to your room. Exactly on time. One of the best chocolate croissants I’ve ever had. The whole breakfast was delicious. We loved everything about this hotel. …
We stayed here for three nights over new years eve and it was just the perfect hotel - staff was excellent and very attentive, the room was really charming with a small kitchen and separate bedroom and the breakfast was served in the room which made it feel really special. The location is also perfect as you can walk almost everywhere - ten minutes to both Navigli, Duomo and Colonne di San Lorenzo. Would definitely stay again!
the hotel was amazing. Tasteful furnishing, sumptuous bfast delivered to your room, and incredible service from staff and reception We reached in the morning they welcomed us with steaming cups of capuccino and were able to give us the room in an hour The room was spacious and bathroom clean The location was very convenient and close to Duomo area Highly recommended
We found the staff very service oriented and the rooms big and very clean. The breakfast was served in the room and it was very good except for the eggs (very well done). There is a lot of noise due to traffic and construction activities, but we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is within walking distance of all of central Milan
Absolutely the best hotel 5 star experience, amazing rooms, breakfast and staff. Don't go past this hotel you will miss out on a wonderful stay. Perfect location to Duomo and shopping. On tram line and close to metro. Friendly helpful staff. Bath tub spa. Best breakfast served in your room on a beautiful trolley, enjoy breakfast in bed.
Location: convenient. One could easily walk to Duomo in 10-15 mins Tube is about 7 mins away - Missouri ( yellow) line and Duomo ( red line) 15 mins Rooms: it is a converted convert ,somewhat dated prtobably but has an old world charm Rooms are of reasonable size and equipped well Breakfast: delivered to rooms - not bad!- and of good quality Staff - very welcoming and helpful
Absolutely love this hotel! Besides having a lovely, helpful staff, itks full of antiquites and other treasures. The room had a big, good bed, bath with both tub and shower, and a small kitcen. Free bottle water every day and breakfast in the room. Great location, only 10 min walk to the Dome. Bus stop outside.
An absolute perfect stay from beginning to end. The hotel is a charmingly renovated building in the center of Milan. The decor is a grand Old World style that perfectly compliments the building style and each room is individually decorated. The lobby is more akin to an elegant drawing room and the courtyard also gives the feel of a private residence rather than a hotel. I had the pleasure of staying in suite 19 on the top floor. The room was huge , even by American hotel standards. The bath room had a jetted tub along with a bidet. There was a dining area as well as a kitchenette in the room. A very comfortable queen size bed near a fireplace and a private terrace off the bedroom were the icing on the cake. It made my seven night stay in Milan so relaxing. The staff is beyond polite. They are courteous and friendly (the one gentleman on the front desk I had the pleasure of speaking to for hours and he gave me wonderful recommendations for Milans dining scene and the history of the hotel and a great rate on my return stay) and take real concern for the care of their guests. Don't misunderstand, this's not the Four Seasons (there is no restaurant, no gym, no spa, etc.) but it is the best boutique hotel I've ever stayed in and what it lacks in certain amenities it more than makes up for in elegance, charm, style, size, location, and small touches (the best being the breakfast that is served to you in your room every morning). If staying in Milan you could not to better for the price! I will definitely be back.…
We only had the opportunity to stay in this hotel for one night (in room six), so we would likely have discussed our minor issues with the staff more proactively had we stayed longer. The positive attributes are the location, the staff that truly strives to be helpful and the size of the rooms. It was nice to have a little kitchen and the bedroom was large compared to other hotel rooms in Italy. The staff really did try to help and was quite friendly when we did have questions or needed to make changes to our breakfast time. In fact, the bellman arrived early to ensure we had breakfast in our room before we had to leave for our flight, which demonstrated the commitment to the guests. The minor issues are fixable. Our A/C was not functioning in the bedroom well at all, but did seem to work in our little kitchen. The satellite (or cable?) TV rarely worked and would cut in and out, making the TV practically unusable. We were not able to locate an English-language channel, but that could have been related to the satellite or cable not connecting well. Lastly, the shower was smaller than a phone booth and my husband is six feet tall, which made it almost impossible for him to get a great shower. The water did not get warm until late in both of our showers, so there may be a hot water issue. We appreciated the extra efforts by the staff when we did speak with them, but were not able to fully address our concerns due to the brief length of our stay.…
We stayed here for two nights at the end of october. The staff was really friendly and the offered a very good service. Some small errors occured due to the different languages (wrongly translated on the website), they immediately fixed this issue without hesitation. The hotel itself is really beautiful, decorated with a lot of taste and eye for detail. The history of this place speaks to mind. We would stay here again.
