I missed the last train from Milan Central Station, so decided to stay at this hotel as I only wanted somewhere to sleep for few hours. Walk - in to reception and they had shared as well individual room available. I chose Individual room. Windows opened on main street - noisy through out the night. cleanliness was not up to...

Perfect location. Thats it. Ifyou are looking for comfort on other facillities look elsewhere. Not ideal for single girls to strall around central station/hotel area after dark:) We were saticefied because of central location. Not the facillities.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Looking at the photos and rating at hotels.com I booked the "Hotel"... After long travel all I wanted was to get to my single room with air condition.... As I arrived I was given the form to sign and after I signed I was told the room is a 3 person room and I have a bed...

Well, the only positive aspect this hotel is its proximity to the railway station and the metro. I did not expect much to begin with, but what really put me off was the filth and the mold in the bathroom. The receptionist must have never heard of the concept that is called "human interaction", as she seemed rather displeased by...

I booked a room here to decompress after a flight from the states and wanted a place near the train station as we were taking the airport shuttle into Milan and traveling on via train. This place is a dump. I have stayed in hotels in over 30 countries and this one ranks as the worst. My list includes a...

Great overnight location for those who are taking early trains from Centrale or early flights from BGY/MXP. There was pretty much noise from the street at night - the only drawback I noticed. The hotel is very basic. But it is super convenient to walk out of the hotel and in 2 minutes to be in a shuttle bus.

just opposite the main station, and shuttle service to the airport! so ideal if your stop over at milan as i stayed 1 night to catch the plane. But, it looked a convenient location to commute and get a bed in the night. the door was a problem for the room, hence the doors cannot be closed without been locked...

We had booked a room at this hotel which was a relatively expensive hotel room near Milan Train station through booking.com. When we arrived, this expensive room was a dump: dark, old, noisy (open windows on main thoroughfare). The "air conditioning" was a small fan on a chair. There was no way we could sleep with noise and heat. We...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
