We only stayed in the hotel for 1 night while visiting Milan. The hotel itself was lovely, but slightly far out from the center of town. Close to tram & train stops, if you can work out which direction you should be going in. Probably more of a business rather than leisure hotel. Breakfast was good & didn't finish until... More

Very modern hotel close to the Garibaldi station - just a few minutes walk. Public transport very easy to access nearby - metro, tram, railway to Malpensa airport. Room modern and well equipped - good free wi-fi for up to three devices. Bathroom clean and good shower, powerful enough and good choice of toiletries. Bar and restaurant area ok -... More

Booked this using a combination of points and pay, since the weekend rate was so good (less than US$100/night for Fri/Sat. It is a modern hotel with nice sized rooms and all the conveniences you want, including a metro station entrance right outside the front door and a tram into the city center a block away. So the location is... More

Andrea and Christina were GREAT. Very accommodating very helpful. What we were told was it was too dangerous to have a tea kettle, iron and ironing board in your room. That's all in Milan, well let me tell you that thats not true. This was the only hotel where we didn't have one. You could not bring coffee back in... More

As a platinum member, the hotel does not provide any Rewards benefits. Although it's clearly stated that the AC brand does not do anything for Rewards customers, other AC locations offer free breakfast and what nots. Also I've stayed here twice and both times the hotel did not automatically credit my hotel stays in the Rewards program.

We have been staying in various airbnbs throughout Italy for more than a month - once in a while its nice to stay in a hotel with a large, conventional bathroom, predictably comfortable beds, etc. This is a pleasant, American-style hotel in the Porta Nuova area - it's adjacent to the Garibaldi station. The location was a factor in choosing... More

We had never stayed at an AC Hotel before, but it was an enjoyable stay. We took the train from Como to Milano's Stazione Centrale and we were able to walk from the arrival platform to the stairs/ramp leading directly up to the hotel. We were there is no time. And when we were ready to go to the Duomo,... More

I'm a regular in this hotel. Lovely staff, great location in the middle of the nicest part of Milan. Nice rooms. Deluxe rooms are preferable. The rates change accordingly to the period, sometime can be expensive. I always go there and I reccomand it.

Nice hotel, we arrived late one night by train and walked there. The walk was not that hard or long. If you take a cab, it will almost as long to load up you bags as it will to walk to the hotel, 5 - 6 minutes. Full size bathtub & shower too. The room was very nice, the staff... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
