This hotel has two stars but it definitely offers more than this. We stayed there with two small children. Our room was already equipped with a cot for the smaller one. During the stay we had many unusual requests like: can we have more towels, can we store something in the fridge, can we have the breakfast earlier. All our... More

My husband and I stayed five nights in this hotel. We had one of the best welcoming's in the two weeks we were in Italy. Alberto is outstanding!!! He and his staff go above and beyond to help and answer any questions. The hotel is located across the street from the Milano Centrale. Excellent location if you plan to take... More

Before booking thru booking.Com, I tried to book it directly but hotel was asking for credit card details on email which I refused.I didn't know that The so called owner Alberto will take this so much on his heart that he refused to give room (on making excuse that you have booked for 2 people and can't accommodate 3 year... If you need a hotel for a family that won't break the budget and is close to the train station, this is a great little place. Don't actually exit the train station by the from entrance, take an underground passage to the left and you will pop up at exit almost directly in front of the road the hotel is... More

We were travelling by train through Italy and this hotel was a short walking distance. Not so easy to find but once there, the staff is very friendly and the accommodations spacious and clean. There is breakfast included. An easy location to get around this city by walking, train or bus. We took the bus to the airport from the... More

Good location -- really close to the central train station. The hotel was a little hard to find -- it is on the second floor of a building that is not well marked. Clean room and solid wi-fi. Overall, I would recommend.

I spent one very nice night in Milan recently, in a hotel I'd not seen before this. New, young, charming owners have recently taken over and transformed the place, apparently. Certainly my room was quite nice (small, but then all of the hotel rooms I check into are small). But I want to praise this hotel for the exuberance of... More

Very kind and accommodating young couple. Alberto and Valentina saw to it that all of our concerns were fully addressed. The ample room space coupled with the quiet neighborhood gave us the needed rest after a long day's walk. Location is just a brief walk from the train station. The restaurant in front of the property serves great food. The... More

Near the train station for quick day trips to Lake Como, etc. Subway for a quick trip to the Duomo, La Scala, etc. Valentina offers a friendly smile and is very helpful. Clean rooms, nice daily breakfast.

We chose Hotel Esco as the last stop on our 2 week trip through Italy. The young couple who own & manage the property are charming and hard working. The hotel is comfortable and we appreciated the continental breakfast and cappuccinos in the morning. It is within walking distance to many of the important sites: Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, and... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
