I accompanied my wife for her professional trip to Milano design week. We enjoyed the hotel's central location very near to Milano Centrale train station, and also the depot for Milano Airport shuttles, very convenient. The room was smallish, which is typical, but comfortable, no complaints. maybe some Inconsistency in the hot water supply in the shower. Breakfast was very...

Very simple hotel. But it is located just 5 minutes away from Milano Centrale by walk. In addition the rooms are clean. There is nothing more. When we were there, the wi-fi did not work, so it is shame for any hotel to host the customers without internet.

I spent three nights at Colombia hotel for a business trip to Milan and my experience was just wonderful: The atmosphere is stylish and contemporary, so I invited a client over for a cocktail at the hotel bar for a meeting. Rooms are comfortable, silent and clean. Breakfast is amazing and rich and the staff treated me with courtesy and...

I have travelled all over the world and stayed in dozens of hotels but never in my life have I come across such appalling customer service! As a 3-star, the hotel itself is very basic and the rooms are tiny but comfortable though I guess they expected us to share 1 glass, 1 towel and 1 set of slippers between...

Hotel Colombia is a small hotel with very helpful staff. It is very very close to the Cetral train station with connections to the airport and the Metro lines so it is very convenient as a location. Also the city center is only 4 metro stops away (Duomo). The price was a bargain and the hotel was very clean. Also...

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It's a perfect choice if you search hotel near railway station. My single room was small but clean and had very nice bathroom. Breakfast was very nice. There was opportunity to order cappucino during breakfast. Near hotel you can find some cafes/restaurants. Local people have lunch at LePetit cafe which is near...

Spend 2 nights there over weekend for a private visit to Milano. Hotel is very close to main train station and metro, which you can take to get to city center (about 15 min from hotel to duomo). The hotel itself is quite nice, clean and good value for a reasonable price. We first had a room on first floor...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
