We had not booked any rooms when we got off the train in Milan. Free WIFI only worked on local phones. It was late, we were tired and the police said there was a hotel 2 minutes walk. We had no choice. The room could have been scrubbed clean, very very dingy and very dated. Shower was very small. We... More

I stayed here 2 nights while in Milan! It is nice small hotel near the train station! The room is nice and and clean! The staff is very helpful! Location is good because you are near the train station and the metro! Easy to get to places! I would stay here again!

The rooms and beds were average, breakfast was nothing special but it was included but was in a very small nook of the hotel. The location was the best part as it was very close to milan central station. We only needed a basic accommodation but looking back I think the price was probably a little high for what we... More

I rated this hotel as being "poor" only because it is extremely noisy; i had room 101 for one night only, but it was enough. It was very hard for me to fall asleep, because the noises from the cars passing outside are exactly like you are having your windows open. i double-checked, but the window was shut.. still, an... The desk people are great. Hotel Stazione is super close to the Milan Centrale front door. It is a great place to spend a night to catch your breath by the station or even use as a base to get to the metro. It is peaceful as the square in front is a unique village.

The hotel was clean, but smells bad. The staff was friendly. Every five minutes sounded the underground metro. Soundproofing was awful. The walls were very thin. You can hear every sounds from the next room. Our room was on the first floor and you was able to hear all the cars with the windows closed. I don't recommend it.

This was our first hotel on our Italy trip. It was very clean. Comfortable with 3 twin beds. Great location to the Milan train station. The staff was very pleasant. I would stay here again. Many restaurants close by. No noise from other rooms. Bathroom was fine. We had to leave very early to catch a train and they brought... More

This is the best place to stay when you are visiting Milan which is only about an hour by train. The hotel is located literally across the train station so it's very convenient. Novara is a very charming place, so you can't go wrong if you stay here. The hotel itself was OK, very friendly and chatty receptionist/owner, bedroom was... More

I chose this hotel largely because of its location and I was arriving Milano late at night. It was just a short 3 min walk from the Central Station. Contrary to reviews from other users about the noise from the train station, it was never a problem for me during my 2-night stay. In fact I seldom heard any noise,... More

Near the station but if you are a light sleeper, do not stay here! You can feel-not only hear!-every train passing! If you want to stay near the station, you'd better choose a hotel with many floors and not only one. The rooms are small and old- nothing to do with the photos.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
