The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Ok, it’s not easy to find this hotel, and ok the rooms also are pretty old, but it’s honest and what a pleasure to take the coffee on the small balcony of the kitchen. Good place (20 minutes from the center)

I booked this hotel (at least I thought it was a hotel) looking by location because I had a function in that street and wanted a place to walk back to at night. Unfortunately I did not do any research and was quite shocked to find out that this is not a hotel but a 2nd floor apartement room-let , without even a tiny lobby. Even at night one has to ring a bell and wait for the front door to be opened . The condition of the premises is simply appalling- scratched paint everywhere, broken tiles in bathroom, DIY repairs to bathtub , antique dirty shower curtain, and smelly room. Not point to review the breakfast - it was as bad as the rest of the place - pre-packed cheese slices and all. A single room cost Eur 90, which makes this the worse value for money I have even had in my life.

Firstly the hotel has tiny banner so make sure you get there with a map or taxi. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on and I am never fussy but it's like sleeping on the floor. This was the main reason of an unpleasant visit. Internet in the room was quite poor especially later in the evening. Bathroom needs attention. Breakfast was not bad however they lack in a little selection of fruit and veg.

This hotel is located in the center area in Milan and that's the unique good thing about it. Incredible old and outdated. There were 3 or 4 people in the reception in two days and they didn't speak much with the clients. In fact, most of the time, they truly avoided speaking with the clients by saying they didn't understand anything beside Italian. The blonde short guy from the reception had a really bad attitude. The heater wasn't working. The breakfast was poor and not good. Couldn't sleep at night because the bed was bad and the walls were so thin that you could always listen what your neighbors were doing or what was happening in the hall. The wifi was bad. The cleaning service was ridiculous. Definitely not worth it. Not even for a short time travel

I stayed here for three nights and enjoyed it. The hotel is not that big but the room was very comfortable. It's location is about 20 minutes from the railway station and 15 minutes walk from the Duomo. The hotel was on the second floor of the building which has a huge door and it's locked most of the time, so you have to ring the bell for the receptionist to open the door. I had a bit of difficulty finding it for the first time as there is just a small sign on the side of the huge door. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would probably stay here again!
