From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave, nothing is more important to the staff than you. An absolute first class service in an outstandingly clean, modern and extremely classy environment. A perfect location for people watching whilst relaxing, switching off and enjoying a taste of luxury. Not an everyday hotel for the majority of people but for a special occasion (honeymoon in our case) or a one off treat, a fantastic experience. An added bonus for us was the lineup of high end vehicles that we could drool over & dream about!
It's a beautiful hotel with amazing rooms, staff, location and garden. It's nice that it's a bit hidden from the busy streets. Highly recommended and would absolutely come back next time I'm in Milano!
Wonderful place. Wonderful staff. Couldn't fault anything. Though, according to my wife. apparently the glassware was poor for a top hotel. I focused on the contents which were great for the morning ora ge juice, apertivos, and evening wine.
The Bulgari Hotel is almost hidden at the end of a private, cobble-stone road in the upscale -- mostly residential -- area of Milan behind the Academia di Brera. Approaching it you could easily dismiss for an office building, given the austere facade of this 18th century palace. Once inside, the magic begins. If you are ready to splurge during your next trip to Milan, opt for staying here or visit the exquisitely elegant and modern spa. We had spa treatments -- and then floated in the spa pool -- a perfect urban escape. The ambiance is understated elegance, with top-notch service. See photo of spa pool.
What an utter disappointment and a classic show of snobbery. I wanted to take my sister for a glass of champagne for her birthday and despite the bar area being COMPLETELY EMPTY, we were told first by one woman that they were only serving lunch to hotel residents (this was at 16:00. Very long lunch service), and maybe we could try back in an hour. Subsequently we were told by another woman that the bar was fully booked all day and night. We pointed out that there was no one there and that it was my sister’s birthday and were met with judgemental looks and whispers between the staff. It was truly horrible. I guess we just didn’t look right, but the way we were treated was not what you would expect from such a highly regarded establishment. We have travelled the world and being treated so impolitely leaves a bad taste. Bad vibes Bulgari. Shame on you. Side note: we ended up at the Bar at the Armani Hotel which was a delightful experience in terms of venue and service, so we feel like won in the end anyway……
We were there for 2 nights and eveything was to our 100% satisfaction. Very friendly and helpful team, fatastic restaurant, extremly rich breakfast, car parking, luxurious SPA, .... There wasn't a single thing to complain about . I can expremly recomend this hotel and will come for 100% sure if I am again in Milan.
We just came back from our Italy trip with our 5 children and we could not have been happier with this hotel. Every aspect of this experience was incredible. The rooms were beautiful and modern with every amenity you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Beds were very comfortable (they offer rooms with 2 queen beds which worked well for our large family), lavender pillows were amazing, the special touch of the turn down service with hot tea waiting for you after dinner was appreciated, and the staff could not have been more helpful or more pleasant every moment of our stay. Their entire focus is clearly on making their guests happy and comfortable during their stay. We felt this from the moment we walked in until we left for our flight home to Maryland. We only had breakfast at the restaurant and my family felt it was the best breakfast we had enjoyed during out 12 day holiday vacation. We have traveled to Spain, Switzerland, France, and now Italy with our family and we typically stay in luxury accommodations and this by far was our favorite hotel. If you are planning to stay in Milan please look at the Bulgari. You won't be disappointed.…
I only visitors the bar out of curiosity as it is very well spoken of. The gardens are amazing the service is amazing and the drink that I took with the magic root was even better. The server, Gianluca, is super kind and nice and he really makes you at home.
Complete Italian Luxury. From the friendly staff, delectable food, comfortable beds you will enjoy every minute of your stay here. Of course an incredible wine list and talented bar staff to mix your favourite drinks. Location is convenient and private. The outdoor courtyard is perfect and. you'd never believe you are relatively centre in Milano. The only problem as is the case with many luxury properties is sometimes the clientele can behave in an unsavoury entitled manner. This is not tolerated there, I was relieved to witness. At lunch a young hetero couple made a huge production about bees (there were maybe 3) "swarming on their food" ... the male stood up waving his napkin like an imbecile to the displeasure of all seated around. The Staff swooped in and asked was he allergic and had he been stung? When he whined (in Itlalian) "The bees sat on my food how can I eat it now" they quickly relocated them indoors informing them this yelling and screaming is not tolerated.…
