Pre ordered an infant cot and when ad arrived at 2am we were told there wasn't one available and that our baby would have go sleep on pillows on the floor. Air conditioner didn't work properly. Breakfast was average. The only positive is that it is close to the train station.

The Hotel Bernina is a marvelous modern convenience that my family and I have used repeatedly over the years. It's a short, nicely located walk from the Milano train station, with elevators, air conditioning, comfortable rooms and beds (albeit small, but clean and well arranged) and the best breakfast - prima colazione of ANY hotel I've had. The service for... More

This was my first stop on my Italian holiday with my parents. Beautiful hotel, clean and friendly stuff. Breakfast was also good. The hotel is literally diagonally across the station on the left. Easy to find. From here you can take the metro to all the sites. There is also a supermarket around the corner. I love the decorations and... More

The location is very convenient, close to the main train station, subway, restaurants, great gelato places. The staff was very attentive and kind. The room was small, but this is what we have chosen: it fit an adult with 3 kids (sharing beds). There was a 1Euro/person/night city tax added at the end of the stay.

I chose this hotel due to it's location; just down the street from Milan Centrale, and a 10-15 minute walk from Corso Buenos Aires (a great shopping street). The hotel and bathroom was clean, there was a great breakfast buffet, and the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was a great budget hotel, and I would certainly... More

The hotel located within walking distance to Milan Centralè Station so it is a familiar sight again for us. We dropped by at Hotel Garda just to say ciao. Overall Milan has never failed us. Hotel... Stayed in mid-March for a few nights. The hotel was located across the square from the main station which was a short walk away- ~2/3 minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful and they always checked and questioned who we were if they didn't recognise us which I thought was good from a safety point of view. There was a... More

The Bernina is in a very good location, breakfast is good and more than enough, the room is very clean - of an acceptable size - bathroom was very clean also, a bit tiny. What bothered us was during our first day, there was no warm water at all and no one bothered to give an explanation or apologise. We... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
