Very Elegant place. Old style in a good way. Top location. Precise hosting: At the doorstep you'll find fine umbrellas to take with you on a rainy day and big red apples to have when coming back. Very clean very plesant.

The hotel is ideally placed for taking in the sights of the city. It is just round the corner from the Biblioteca Ambrosiana, five minutes from the Duomo and La Scala and has some great, quirky restaurants all within walking distance and away from the tourist traps. It's also really easy to get to. Get the Airport Express to Cadorna...

I cannot see anything negative about this property. The free mini bar was a surprise and a real plus. Staff are helpful and room was spotless. It is 2 min from the duomo and the noise and congestion and it is quiet and peaceful. An oasis.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything is understated and yet the rooms are spotless, the breakfast is tremendous and the ambiance is relaxed and gentle. The attention to detail of the housekeeping is noticeable, the place is spotless. The bathrooms are well equipped and come with essential toiletries plus the nice to have extras. There is a cosy bar,...

Excellent hotel close to the piazza Duomo and the main shopping area. Very nice room with good bathroom facilities. At night a short walk to the beautifuly lit Duomo and surrounding buildings is breathtaking and safe for a family with teenage children.

I would say it is a practical choice. Central, right size, clean, good breakfast, bathroom cleaning items are in good quality. I forgot to bring my reading glasses abroad with me. The reception suggest a big optical store near the hotel(from hotel to dumo is just 3 to 5 minutes). It was a very good recommendation, thank you! We were...

Really enjoyed our say here. The rooms were very nice and modern and the minibar was free which was a nice change and included soft drinks, juices and beer. The hotel is located in a quiet street but very close to the Duomo and other tourist sites which was great as we didn't have to go far. The staff were...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
